“Don’t worry, I won’t get you involved.” The Emperor closed his eyes and rested.
James and the others waited nearby the research laboratory. Soon, the helicopters arrived.
The Blithe King was here. Seeing the caved-in mountain, he frowned and asked, “What happened?”
James said, “There’s a self-destruction mechanism inside the laboratory. After escaping, the Emperor
was worried that I would get my hands on the evidence of his crimes. So, he blew up the whole thing.
Blithe King, seal off the five provinces at once. We can’t allow the Emperor to return to the Capital. It
would be impossible to kill him by then. Only by trapping him in the provinces can we get rid of him

“Mhm.” The Blithe King nodded. Then, he gave the order, “Mobilize the army of all five military regions
and seal off the provinces. Arrest all suspicious persons.”
Then, James returned to Cansington military region with the Blithe King in the helicopter.
Tiara was sent to a military hospital.
Meanwhile, James switched on his laptop and started sketching Professor C’s appearance.
Looking at his sketch, James nodded. “Hmm… I think he has thicker eyebrows, but this is close
enough.”
The Blithe King ordered, “Issue an arrest warrant for this man.”
After giving his orders, the Blithe King looked at James and took a deep breath. “James, this is the
Emperor we’re talking about. Even if he’s creating some sort of biological monster in his research

“I know.” James continued, “That’s why we can’t let him leave this place alive. Once you capture him,
just leave it to me. After all, we’ll be in deep trouble if he escapes.”
James knew the consequences. That was why the Emperor had to die.
He waited the whole night at the military region.
The military of the five provinces mobilized and sealed off the provinces. Then, they conducted a
blanket search starting from the research laboratory.
However, Professor C and the Emperor seemed to have vanished into thin air. They were nowhere to
be found.
The night passed.
James was standing by the window. However, no news came. Watching the light of dawn seeping into
the room, James knew that they had escaped. They should have returned to the Capital by now.
The sound of footsteps could be heard and James turned his head.
The Blithe King walked over to him and said, “We failed to capture them. They managed to escape.”
“Mhm.” James gently nodded. “They should have returned to the Capital by now. Give the order to
withdraw.”
The Blithe King said, “I just received news that many explosions could be heard in mountains
throughout Sol. It created a sensation on the Internet. Everyone was wondering what happened.”
James said, “The Emperor must have begun destroying all traces of evidence. The explosion sites
were all research laboratories. To think that he’d be this decisive… All those years of hard work have
gone down the drain.”
The Blithe King asked, “What do you plan to do next?”
James shook his head.
Since the research laboratories were all blown up, all evidence had been destroyed. Just the research
data alone would not be able to convict the Emperor of his crimes. Now that the Emperor had
destroyed all the research laboratories, James was at a loss.
“I guess I can only wait and see,” James said in a low voice. “Well, at least we ruined his plans.
