He stood hundreds of meters away and looked at Lucifer.
“James is here.”

Some of Earth’s humans grew tense.
James looked at Lucifer before him and said calmly, “I’m here, Lucifer.”
“Good. I’ve been waiting for a long time,” said Lucifer.
James said, “I might not have been your opponent a month ago, but my strength has sinceimproved significantly. Since you’ve given me a month, I’ll definitely win this match.”
“Ha!” Lucifer snickered.
“I like your confidence, James. As I said, I can guarantee the safety of humanity if you win. Nobeasts will attack any human territories, nor will my clan attack Earth for ten thousand years.

After speaking, Lucifer made a gesture for James to attack.

His eyes shifted, and he saw some of Earth’s humans.
His grandfather, Thomas, was amongst the crowd.
His other grandfather, Langston, and his uncle, Tyrus, were also there.
Additionally, he also saw Henry, Delainey, the Blithe King, Quincy, and the others from Wyrmstead.
Many of the Callahans also came to spectate. All of them stood behind Lex.
James scanned these familiar faces one by one. All of them had heavy expressions, evidentlyworried about his safety.
Then, he saw Marcello.
Even Harold and Quintina from the Ancient Realm had shown up.
After scanning the crowd, James turned to look at Lucifer, who was standing on the mountaintopbefore him. He asked indifferently, “Do we decide the outcome like a normal match, or do we fighttill one of us dies?”
James’ voice echoed through the area.

Lucifer’s voice sounded. “If I wanted to kill you, I would’ve done so long ago. Plus, how would I getyou to join my clan if I killed you?”
“Alright.” James nodded and understood Lucifer’s intentions.
Lucifer did not intend to kill him. Instead, his goal was to get James to join the Hadean Clan.
James’ robe began to flutter in the winds, and a terrifying energy erupted from his body.
