“The beasts are too strong. Humans are still too weak. Not everyone can fight against them likeyou. If you continue to battle, the entire Southwest Province might really collapse, and you’ll have toshoulder the deaths of innumerable people.”
The Blithe King also advised him, “James, I agree we should surrender. We should at least do ourbest to keep the remaining humans alive.”
