Over the past month, James had been slipping in and out of consciousness. He had no idea wherehe landed after leaving Earth.
“This is the Yanis’ household in Kineallen City. While I was out looking for ingredients for elixirrefinement a month ago, I found you lying on the ground. Your life was hanging by a thread, so Ibrought you back here and healed you.”
“Thank you.”
James thanked her. Although he would not die from his injuries due to his extraordinary body, hethanked her nonetheless.
“By the way, where’s Kineallen City? What world is this?” James asked.
“Huh?” Melany was stunned. Was the man before her not from the Ancient Realm?
However, she did not ask any questions and simply replied, “Kineallen City is located in Doncasterof the Ancient Realm.”
“The Ancient Realm?”
Hearing this, James’ blood ran cold.
It was only because of the Ancient Realm’s Divinity Sect’s Sect Elder that he could not return hometo his family. He needed to gain sufficient strength to fight against the Divinity Sect before he couldreturn home. Otherwise, there was no point in going back.
Upon seeing James’ ghastly expression, Melany asked, “What’s wrong?”

Then, Melany turned to leave.
For the next few days, she did not appear. James, on the other hand, remained bedridden, allowinghis body to slowly recover.
Though he still could not move about as he pleased, he no longer lost consciousness.
Three days later, he was taken onto a carriage. Then, he arrived somewhere else.
“Sir.” After being placed on a bed at a new location, a voice came, “This is Angel’s HavenSanctuary, a shelter sponsored by Ms. Melany. For the time being, rest here and treat your injuries.”
James could see that a woman with fine features was speaking to him.
