Chapter 2122

“He didn’t disappoint us.”

Upon witnessing the scene, a smile crept up on Marcello’s face as he murmured, “I wonder whatcultivation method was that. To think that it was able to increase James’ strength so drastically insuch a short amount of time.”

Everyone else was equally stunned. At that moment, their gazes were simply fixed on James.

James descended from the sky and landed steadily on the ground. Then, he dispersed SacrilegiousAscension, and his vertebrae that were formed using the power of heaven and earth disappeared. As his power gradually disappeared, he lay on the ground motionless, his life hanging by a thread.

Thea hurriedly made her way over to him and helped him up.

James said, “I-I’m fine… Just let me rest for a while.”

As he lay on the ground, he catalyzed Demonic Energy and accelerated his rejuvenation speed.

Then, some earthlings and Outsiders approached him.

Marcello walked over to James, whose face was pale and whose life was hanging by a thread, andasked, “Are you alright, James?”

James smiled faintly and said, “Of course I am.”

Marcello praised him, “How impressive of you! Magnus is at the Immortal Ascension’s Third Stair, yet you were able to defeat him by yourself. By the way, what cultivation method did you cultivate? It’s so insanely powerful!”

“Sacrilegious Ascension,” came a voice.

Everyone turned their heads to see a man in a black robe approaching. Around twenty years of age,he had long hair and a somewhat handsome-looking face. However, he exuded a slight trace ofmalevolent energy.

“Jace…” Marcello greeted him and asked, “What is Sacrilegious Ascension?”

At that moment, another voice came, “Sacrilegious Ascension is a signature cultivation method ofthe Primordial Divine Ape Race.”

Everyone turned their heads to see another man approaching.

James recognized the man.

He was Cody Beau of the Ethos Realm.

Jace, the senior disciple of Marcello, glanced at Cody and said, “Not bad… You even know thatJames cultivated the Primordial Divine Ape Race’s signature cultivation method.”

Cody looked at Jace and said smilingly, “Likewise… You also know that James cultivatedSacrilegious Ascension.”

Though Cody looked at Jace with a composed expression on his face, he was secretly stunned.

As the sect he hailed from was an influential one, it was only natural that he had heard ofSacrilegious Ascension. However, who was the man before him and how did he learn of it?

James, who was lying on the ground, was also shocked. He expected Cody to know aboutSacrilegious Ascension. However, he did not anticipate that Marcello’s senior disciple would beequally knowledgeable.

As his injuries had yet to completely recover, he got up with great difficulty and sat on the ground, saying smiling, “Alright now, I’m alright, everyone. Now, go away and return me some peace.”

Cody looked at the injured James and said, “It is my understanding that even the Divine Ape Racefinds this cultivation method difficult to cultivate. I didn’t expect you to be capable of accomplishingsuch a feat. Since you wish to rest, I’ll be taking my leave. We’ll meet again some other day.”

Then, he turned to leave.

Though there were many more surrounding James, they did not dare approach him.

Jace glanced at James and said with a smile, “Not bad… That physical body of yours is trulyimpressive.”

After he spoke, he burst into a peal of laughter and turned to leave.

Soon, the other Outsiders gradually left.

The outcome of the battle took everyone by surprise. No one would have thought that James wouldbe able to annihilate Magnus in a single move.

It was simply unbelievable.

James sat in a lotus position on the ground and healed his injuries. Thirty minutes later, he stoodup.

Thea hurriedly helped him up.

James waved his hand slightly and said, “I’m fine.”novelbin

Marcello, on the other hand, smiled at James, saying, “Not bad, your strength has increased byleaps and bounds. If you increase your rank further, you’ll have a shot at competing for the

providence.”
