Chapter 2096

“Mhm.”

James nodded.

Just as he stood up and was about to enter the room, a rain droplet dripped from the roof onto hisface. Instinctively, he raised his hand and wiped the droplet off his face. However, upon wiping hisface, he froze.

His palm was black.

“A-A black rain droplet?”

Wearing a sullen expression, James raised his head and looked at the pitch-black sky.novelbin

“Has the day finally come?”

Rumble!

Lightning struck, and thunder roared.

Pitter-patter!

Rain poured from the sky.

However, the raindrops were black. Eerily, when the rain made contact with the ground, it seemedto have eroded the soil. The soil gave off a pungent smell.

“What?”

Thea was stunned.

Feeling her face, she realized that there were also water droplets on her skin. She could clearly seethat the droplets were black in color.

Even as a powerful martial artist, she could feel the corrosiveness of the rain.

“Darling, has the First Calamity arrived?”

“Mhm.”

James nodded grimly.

“The First Calamity is upon us.”

“What should we do?”

Thea asked anxiously.

James shrugged helplessly.

What else could he do?

This was an act of nature. No matter how powerful one was, one could not stand in the way ofnature.

“Let’s return to our room for now.”

James grabbed Thea’s arm and returned to the room.

He did not sit idly by but instead used his current status to inform Sol’s Supreme Commander,Japura’s Thomas, Tacriyrus’ Sky, Lothian’s Langston, and even the person in charge of Wyrmsteadof the situation.

“This is a natural catastrophe that you have to attach great importance to. Tell your people to avoidgoing out as much as possible from now onward. We have to save as many lives as we can.”

James informed the heads of state.

“Breaking news! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the National Meteorological Bureau. Black rain hasbegun pouring from the skies. For your safety, please remain in the comfort of your homes.”

Sol began urging its people to remain indoors.

The rain poured for the whole night all over the world. There was torrential rainfall in some placesand drizzles in others. In any case, the entire world was experiencing the same phenomenon. Somehumans who remained outside did not pay any heed to the rain after being soaked. However, uponarriving home, they began experiencing a fever, and their bodies began showing bizarre symptoms.

That night, hospitals were at full capacity.

As the catastrophe swept the globe, some cried out in fear, “Why? Why is this happening to us?God, answer our prayers!”

All of humanity roared in frustration.

James did not sleep for the whole night.

His attention was fixed on the current crisis.

The night passed silently.

The next day, a crevice appeared in the sky, and figures began pouring from within.

They were the Outsiders who had arrived on Earth.
