Two slender and beautiful women walked out of the crowd.
It was Tiara and Cynthia.
Seeing James, Tiara lowered her head shyly and did not speak.
Cynthia was the one who spoke first.
“Maxine?”
James was taken by surprise by the question and said, “I didn’t see her.”
After hearing his reply, Cynthia’s brows furrowed, and she said, “That’s strange. Where could shehave gone? We thought she went to see you.”
James asked, “What happened?”
Cynthia explained, “A few months ago, there was a post on the Martial Arts Forum claiming to beyou. Maxine wanted to verify it and ascertain whether you were still alive. She left Cansington atnight and came to Mount Bane. However, there has been no news from her ever since, and herphone has been turned off.”
After hearing the explanation, James said, “There shouldn’t be any danger if she saw my postbefore coming to Mount Bane. I’ve already reached an agreement with the Overworld Outsiders atthat time, so Earth’s martial artists are able to freely enter Mount Bane. She must’ve left becauseshe had something important to do.”
“I hope so.”
Cynthia wore a solemn expression. She had a sinking feeling that Maxine had gotten into sometrouble.
“Guys, I’ve other matters to deal with, so I won’t hang around Mount Bane any longer. I’ll see youguys next time.”
James bid farewell.
“James…”
Thomas called out for him.
James turned to him and asked, “What’s wrong? Did you need to tell me something else?”
Thomas asked, “How can I enter the Celestial Abode?”
James replied, “There is a Spirit Tool within the Celestial Abode. You’ll need its permission to enter.”
Suddenly, the Celestial Abode’s golden door slowly opened. A shadowy figure emerged and said,“Sorry for the long wait.”
After the shadow appeared, he said, “The Celestial Abode is officially open to challengers.Regardless of strength, anyone can enter the Celestial Abode to challenge the nine barriers. Theperson who completes all nine barriers will become the Celestial Abode’s owner.”
Everyone clamored excitedly when they heard this.
However, James’ brows furrowed together.

He bid farewell to Cynthia and Tiara.
