Xandra could not believe her ears. She knew how powerful the Overworld and the figures guardingMount Bane were. Thus, she did not expect James to be able to fight them to a standstill.
“I’m not sure if I can sense the magical object’s specific location. But since Mount Bane is safe now,I’ll head over there immediately. Wait for me, James. I’ll be there within a day.”
“Alright, then.”
James hung up the phone.
Then, he sat in a lotus position on the ground and absorbed Empyrean Spiritual Energy to replenishthe Demonic Energy within his body.
His Demonic Energy had been depleted after the battle. It was not the True Lunar and Terra Energyhe cultivated, nor was it his physical prowess.
As Empyrean Spiritual Energy entered his body, the Demonic Energy that was depleted slowlyreplenished. After some time, as his Demonic Energy was restored, James became energetic. Hedid not leave but instead waited patiently.
Before daybreak, Xandra Lafleur arrived.
She was wearing a pair of jeans, a pair of sneakers, cream-colored short sleeves, and a pair ofsunglasses. Not only that, but she was also carrying a huge bag.

James smiled bitterly and said, “This is only temporary. Right now, the Overworld is everything weneed to deal with. Once the seal is undone, there will be countless more worlds like the Overworld.When that day comes, it will be the end of us.”
Then, he sighed deeply.
James knew what they would face once the seal was undone six years later. He shouldered a greatresponsibility.
Xandra consoled him, “One step at a time, Son. We have a few years left, after all. There’s nothingmuch to worry about.”
Hearing this, James was slightly at ease. He changed the subject and asked, “Mom, can you sensethe approximate location of any magical object?”
Xandra shook her head. “I only know that they will appear on Mount Bane. As for their specificlocations, I’m unsure of that at the moment. Perhaps I can only sense their presence when theyappear. Let’s not rush things. We’ll wait and see for a few days.”
