When he noticed James, Thomas headed over to him with his entourage.
Thea collected herself and looked at Thomas, greeting him respectfully, “Sir Caden.”

“Congratulations, Thea.” Looking at Thea’s stomach, Thomas said while smiling, “The Cadens willsoon have new blood. If it’s a boy, I’ll raise him as the future Emperor of Japura.”
“Thank you, Sir Caden.” Thea said with gratitude, “However, I only wish for my son to be anordinary person. I don’t want him to be involved in this conflict.”
“Preposterous!” Thomas roared, “Being born a Caden means that he’s destined to be distinguished.How can I possibly allow the descendants of the Japura royal family to be ordinary? We’ll become alaughingstock to the world!”
Stunned by his sudden outburst, Thea was petrified.
James hurriedly stepped forward and said, “Grandpa, I make my own decisions for my child.”
