Chapter 1722

James stared at the creature before him.

The creature was so terrifyingly strong that its palm wind alone was able to send him and Sky flying. It must have reached thepeak of the Ninth Stair.

No, wait...

James had reached the peak of Ninth Stair himself. If the creature’s True Energy was even greater than his, it must havesurpassed the Ninth Stair.

Could it be ninth-rank?Upon thinking about this, James took a deep breath as he fixed his gaze on the creature before him.novelbin

The creature simply remained silent. After staring at James and Sky for some time, it returned to the cavern and disappearedfrom their view.

James turned to look at Sky behind him. Seeing that there was still some blood trace on his lips, he asked, “Is everythingalright?”

“I'm fine.” Sky was wearing a solemn expression.

He had ascended the Ninth Stair. Though he begrudgingly acknowledged that he was comparatively weaker than James, Skycould not accept the fact that he was sent flying by an unknown creature’s Palm Energy in the middle of nowhere. He wanted tobecome the most powerful individual in the world. With more and more beings that were greater in strength emerging, he wasfeeling rather dismayed.

“What are you thinking about?” Upon seeing Sky’s solemn expression, James stopped to think for a moment before laughing,“Don't tell me you feel disgruntled after coming across someone stronger than you.”

Sky looked at James in confusion. How did he know what he was thinking about?

With a smile, James said, “It's a reasonable guess. You told me you wanted to be the most powerful individual in the world. However, someone stronger than you emerged during the tournament organized by the Blood Race. Now, another creaturestronger than you simply appeared out of nowhere. You must be in disbelief upon seeing so many powerful beings.

“Well, | just want you to know that there will always be someone better than you out there. It’s nigh impossible to stand at thevery top of the world.”

Annoyed, Sky said, “Alright, cut the cr*p already. That creature didn’t utter a single word. We should go have a look.”Then, he turned to leave.

James grabbed his arm in time. “Do you have a death wish?”

“What should we do, then?” Sky stopped and asked, “We went to great lengths to find this place. Are we giving up now?”James considered his next course of action. The creature was so strong that even he was intimidated.

After thinking for a brief moment, James said, “You should stay here while | head in there and have a look.”

Upon hearing this, Sky was displeased. “Are you looking down on me, James? Do you think I’m weaker than you?”

James was concerned about Sky'ssafety as he was weaker than hewas. After all, least oultivatetha naneisie Aye Siddhi whichcould render him temporarilyinvincible. Sky, on the other hand...Please read the original content atNovelDrama.Org.

Sky fell silent.

Since antiquity, no one had been ableto cross into the ninth rank. Althoughhis master was powerful, he hadnever seen him in combat. H

He was not able to do the same thing.

After a while, he said, “Alright then, I'll wait here for you. Be on your guard.”

James smiled.
