Maxine was not at all surprised by Thea’s arrival. Based on her calculations, Thea would surely be here

While Thea visited Maxine, James contacted Delilah.

something bad happen to her?”

number would not have been unavailable.
She headed over to the apartment Delilah resided in. It was now empty and devoid of any human
presence. Seeing this, James inquired the landlord.
“Oh, the mother and daughter moved away last year. Someone seemed to be creating trouble for
them.”
Upon hearing this, James’ suspicions were confirmed.
