Chapter 1282

James was heading to the Cadens’ cemetery, and Thea wanted to accompany him.

She looked at the time. It was only three in the afternoon, and there was still plenty of time to head

home before dinner.

Thea said, “Then, let’s head to the Cadens’ cemetery first. I’ve already called my parents, and they’ll

wait for us to have dinner.”

James nodded.

The two left the area and took a taxi to the Cadens’ cemetery.

Soon, they arrived at the cemetery, which used to be the Cadens’ villa.

After the incident ten years ago, the place had become a cemetery. There were a few graves erected in

the place.

The grass had overgrown in the cemetery, and it was apparent that no one had tidied up the area for a

while.

James walked directly to his father’s grave.

His father’s death came before the Cadens’ villa was burned down.

Back then, his father had turned against his grandfather because of Rowena. Ultimately, Rowena

reported his father to the authorities, and he had a heart attack out of anger.

Then, Rowena pushed him off the third floor.

However, James had never seen his father’s body.

He was in school when it happened, and the body had already been taken away when he rushed

home.

James stood in front of Nicholas’ grave with a solemn expression and murmured, “Dad, I’m sorry for

offending you. Please forgive me for this.”

He was unsure of whether his father’s remains were inside the grave.

James walked over and looked at the tomb with a slight frown. He took out his phone and called thenovelbin

Blithe King.

“Blithe King, I’m in the Cadens’ cemetery. Send some people over to help me dig up some graves.”

“Sure, no problem.” The Blithe King did not refuse and immediately made arrangements.

He did not know what James was up to, but since he had nothing to do because of the New Year, he

personally brought people over to help out.

The Blithe King arrived at the Cadens’ cemetery in less than thirty minutes.

Seven to eight soldiers accompanied him with hoes, shovels, and other digging tools.

“What are you up to, James?” The Blithe King walked over and asked.

James said, “I want to prove something.”

“Dragon King,” The soldiers who followed the Blithe King saluted and greeted loudly in unison.

“Mr. Caden,” Yadiel also called out.

James waved his hand and pointed to the grave ahead of him, ordering, “Dig up that grave for me.”

“Alright.”

The accompanying soldiers immediately began to work.

The Blithe King and Yadiel stood beside James.

“What are you trying to prove, James?” the Blithe King asked.

James replied calmly, “My grandpa said our family members aren’t dead. I also think they’re not dead

because, with my grandpa’s strength, ordinary people couldn’t have killed them ten years ago.”

“Oh,” the Blithe King replied.

He did not speak anymore and just quietly watched from the side.

Soon, Nicholas' grave was dug up, revealing a coffin.

James walked over and ordered, “Open it.”

“Yes, Sir.”

The soldiers opened the coffin.

There was an urn inside it.

James picked it up and opened it.

However, the urn was empty and contained nothing.

“Nothing? Honey, it seems the Cadens aren’t dead,” Thea said upon seeing the empty urn.

James continued to order, “Dig up the other graves.”

“Yes, Sir!”

The soldiers quickly went to dig up the other graves.

James verified them one by one.

The result was that the graves were empty and simply fake.

For ten years, he lived in hatred.

To take revenge, he trained day and night. He climbed the military hierarchy from an unknown soldier

to a commander.

Ultimately, he used the Blade of Justice to behead the culprit ten years ago to avenge his family.

However, he suddenly found out that his family members had been alive all this time.
