Chapter 1199

After a few minutes of regulation, James’ condition stabilized.

He glanced at Bryce’s corpse. He knew that Lucjan would surely send more men to locate Bryce’s

whereabouts if he did not return soon.

“Thea, dig a hole,” He ordered.

“Got it.”

Thea then began digging a hole with her sword. As a martial artist, she possessed powerful True

Energy. As such, digging a hole was an easy feat for her.

Soon, a hole a few meters deep was dug.

James waved slightly.

His remaining True Energy formed a flow of energy that transported Bryce’s corpse into the hole.

Meanwhile, Thea began burying the hole with the surrounding ice and snow.

Snow fell.

Soon, no trace of the blood stain remained.

Meanwhile, James left the place and headed to the other side of the abyss to continue treating his

injury.

Lucjan headed over to the Mount Thunder Sect.

At the gates of the Mount Thunder Sect, many disciples were welcoming martial artists from all over

Sol. As the organizer of this conference, the Mount Thunder Sect would not refuse entry to anyone.

They would personally welcome them and arrange accommodation for them.

However, there were simply too many martial artists. Even the Mount Thunder Sect had no empty

rooms left. And so, they began constructing wooden houses as temporary lodgments.

Lucjan and the others were brought to a wooden house. After waiting for a few hours, Bryce still did not

return to them. Frowning, Lucjan muttered, “Why isn’t he back yet?”

He was worried and wanted to search for Bryce himself.

At the same time, in an empty hall at the Mount Thunder Sect…

Many corpses lay in the hall. They were all killed by James.

Creak!

The door opened, and a beautiful woman walked in.

It was Maxine.

Maxine believed that something was fishy. As she had been acquainted with James for quite some

time, she knew his character. There was no way he would kill innocent people. Now, however, she had

been proven wrong.

She came here to have a look at the people James killed.

She walked toward Tobias’ corpse and lifted the white cloth that covered the corpse. Tobias’ face was

pale, and he showed no signs of life.

Maxine grabbed his hand.

It was ice cold.

Then, she took his pulse.

He was no longer breathing.

She stared at him intently.

“How surreal…” She murmured. Even now, she still found it hard to believe that James would kill

Tobias.

However, there Tobias’ corpse was, lying on the ground, motionless.

She turned around and inspected the condition of the other corpses.

However, the result was the same. Their hearts were no longer beating, and they no longer showed

any signs of life. Some were even undergoing postmortem rigidity.

“How weird…”

Maxine stood up and looked at the corpses. Pensive, she stroked her chin.

“What are you doing?” A voice interrupted her thoughts.

Maxine turned her head.

A woman with a sword walked in.

It was Delainey Cabral, the young lady of the Mount Thunder Sect and daughter of Jackson Cabral,

Sect Leader of the Mount Thunder Sect.novelbin
