Chapter 1194

He had never concerned himself with the King of a hundred years ago. Instead, he was more

interested in the Elite Four by the King’s side—Sky, Earth, Wind, and Thunder.

As far as he knew, the four of them had reached the seventh rank a century ago. It was with their help

that Sol was founded in the first place.

Meanwhile, Mr. Lee, the person behind the King, was a disciple of Sky.

James knew that the ancient martial artists were humans too.

However, under normal circumstances, as long as one’s True Energy was properly maintained after

reaching the seventh rank, one could extend one’s lifespan easily no matter the age.

They could be alive.

If they were, they would have reached the eighth rank by now.novelbin

“Have you heard any news about the Elite Four of the first King?”

Lucjan shook his head slightly. “No, I haven’t. After the battle against the Gu Sect, they were gravely

injured and entered closed-door meditation. They should be dead by now.”

Hearing this, James did not question further.

They headed toward the Mount Thunder Sect.

They crossed the Romsdalen Valley and began climbing the mountain.

Before they could reach the summit, James saw a woman standing on a rock at the mountainside. The

woman was wearing a white dress, and her long, black hair flowed in the air.

Upon spotting her, James and the others stopped.

The woman turned.

She was glamorous and impeccable.

It was Thea.

Looking at the group of people, Thea fixed her gaze on the masked man. She knew it was James, the

man whom she was waiting for.

Back then, James massacred many Sect Leaders of the ancient martial world and Patriarchs of the

ancient martial families. She would not have believed it if she had not seen it unfold before her eyes.

“James…” Gritting her teeth, she glared at the masked man. “I know that’s you.”

James remained silent.

Thea’s eyes brimmed with tears.

“I shouldn’t have saved you ten years ago.

“Since it started with me, I’ll end this with my own hands.”

Swish!

She brandished her sword and pointed it at James.

“Come at me. We’ll fight to the death.”

Thea’s voice reverberated.

Lucjan, Bryce, and the Twelve Zodiacs looked at one another.

Looking at James, Lucjan said, “This is your own business. I’ll be heading up first.”

Saying that, he left.

Whoosh…

The wind blew, and the snow fell.

Looking at the enraged Thea, James furrowed his eyebrows.

What the hell?

‘Are you trying to make trouble for me, Thea?’

As Lucjan and the others left, a woman walked down the mountain.

It was Maxine.

Standing a few hundred meters away, she looked at Thea.
