Could I trouble you for some guidance?”

“A few of my friends were captured by an enemy. I suspect they’re members of the Gu Sect. They
demanded I come to Mt. Thunder in advance to assassinate Mount Thunder Sect’s leader. In

James fell into thought.

“Where did he go?”
James was puzzled. The old man was standing in front of him just a second ago. How did he disappear
in a blink of an eye?
“Sir?”
James stood up and called out a few times.
His voice echoed throughout the mountains for a long time.
James looked around, but the old man that gave him the wine and guided him had disappeared with a
trace as if he had never even existed.
“What a mysterious old man,” James murmured.
Following this, James did not linger on the snow-capped mountain peak either. He jumped and
appeared tens of meters away.
He started to descend the mountain and arrived at Mount Thunder Sect’s location in a short amount of
time.
“Who’s there?!”
Before he could get close, a voice yelled at him.
The voice came from one of the Mount Thunder Sect disciples. They quickly rushed over and eyed
James with great suspicion.
James looked at them and responded in a clear voice, “I’m James from the Caden family. I’m here to
meet with the Mount Thunder Sect’s leader.”
“The Mount Thunder Conference hasn’t begun yet. It doesn’t matter who you are. No guests are
permitted into Mt. Thunder. Kindly leave the mountain.”
The disciples ordered James to leave.
“What if I insist on having an audience with him?”
“Then you’ll have to get through us first!”
The disciples around him quickly drew their swords and pointed them at James.
“Cocky b*stards.”
James snorted coldly and drew the Blade of Justice in response. His body flickered and vanished as if
