Chapter 1129

Outside Hope Villa District…

Three thousand fully armed mercenaries surrounded the entire district.

The security guards had been annihilated, except for three. They were kneeling on the ground, with

guns pressed against their heads.

Not too far away, a column of convoys was stopped in their tracks. Thousands of fully armed soldiers

were on high alert.

A man in a black jacket whose face was covered in scars was standing nearby the security room.

Behind him were a dozen men, who were aiming their RPGs at the convoys.

James approached.

A soldier immediately presented him with his bulletproof vest.

However, James waved slightly and politely declined. He walked over to Nott.

“Halt.”

With a loudspeaker in his hand, Nott yelled, “Take another step and we’ll open fire.”

James stopped.

A few shielded soldiers hurriedly walked over to James and handed him a loudspeaker. James lightly

waved. “I do not need this.”

Looking at Nott, James catalyzed True Energy and yelled, “What are you trying to do? Do you know

where you are right now? This is the Capital. All escape routes have been sealed off. Do you seriously

think you can escape?”

As James had catalyzed True Energy, his voice was audible even from twenty meters away. James’

voice buzzed in Nott’s ears. It was a little uncomfortable.

After a few seconds, he replied, “I have no plans of leaving this place alive. Bring Halvor here at once

and prepare me a helicopter.”

“Fine, I accept your demand,” James said without the slightest bit of hesitation. “But I need time to

prepare the helicopter.”

“I want the helicopter in ten minutes, or else the district will be in ruins.”

“Got it.”

Then, James returned to Central Command.

“When will you arrive, Nathaniel?”

“The Air Force is ready. As for the rest, around twenty minutes or so.”

Hearing this, James frowned. It would be too late by then.

“I want real-live footage of the surveillance cameras outside Hope Villa District.”

In an instant, the images appeared before him.

There were many fully armed mercenaries.novelbin

With a simple glance, he immediately understood the mercenaries’ battle positions. The moment a

battle broke out, they would immediately charge into any nearby villas and annihilate the people living

inside. As they were unafraid of death, the whole place would be in ruins once battle breaks out.

“How many people live here?”

“Around three thousand people. They are all wealthy multi-billionaires and CEOs of mega-

conglomerates.

James frowned. Everyone in Central Command was wearing a grim expression.

After a brief moment, he pulled his phone out and called Maxine.

Before he could speak, Maxine said, “I already know what’s going on. Three thousand mercenaries

have surrounded Hope Villa District. Don’t act recklessly, James. If the situation goes out of control,

many innocent lives will be lost.”
