Chapter 1116

James had only learned of this incident last night. How did he manage to finish investigating the matter

in such a short amount of time?

Delilah momentarily froze before saying, “Sure.”

“Let’s get going then.”

James turned and waved toward the convoy.

The driver drove toward them and stopped right in front of James.

The two got on.

Soon, they arrived at the Red Flame Army’s headquarters.

In the Emperor’s office…

James was sitting on an office chair, whereas Delilah sat by his side.

Braxton had been waiting. He was awake the whole night in the military region.

He handed James the documents and said, “Sir, here are all the documents you need. The bankruptcy

of Blue Tech Corporation was caused by the struggle between a few tech conglomerates. Since Blue

Tech Corporation mastered a brand-new technology, a family wanted to make a low-cost acquisition.

After being rejected, they resorted to underhanded tactics.”

James scrutinized the documents which contain all information he needed to know.novelbin

Blue Tech Corporation was not a frontrunner among technology companies. All these years, they had

been researching new technologies. Finally, they made a substantive breakthrough. Just as Blue Tech

Corporation was about to build a successful career, the Tuckson family had their eyes on the new

technology.

The Tucksons were a big family in the Capital that specialized in technological products. Even its

subsidiaries were some of the finest and most sophisticated technology companies in Sol. After hearing

that Blue Tech Corporation had made a substantive breakthrough, they offered to acquire it for a few

million dollars, which Blue Tech Corporation rejected.

Since then, the Tucksons began plotting Blue Tech Corporation’s bankruptcy. However, before they

could get their hands on the technology, the owner of the company fled with all the information in his

hand.

The Tucksons refused to give up. They began applying pressure on Delilah and her mother in an effort

to force the owner of Blue Tech Corporation to show himself. Thus, Delilah was fired from her company.

Cornered, she had no choice but to sing in a bar.

After scrutinizing the document, James tossed it to Delilah and said, “Have a look at this.”

Delilah began reading through it.

Braxton continued, “Sir, the one who plotted all this was a manager in Blue Tech Corporation by the

name of Yahya Tuckson, the son of the Tucksons’ head. He has been arrested.”

James glanced at Braxton and said, “You’re dismissed.”

“Understood.”

Braxton turned to leave.

The moment he left the office, sweat beaded on his forehead. After wiping them off, he hurriedly left.

Soon, Delilah finished reading through the document.

James asked, “What do you think?”

After thinking for a moment, Delilah said, “How can a single person be capable of plotting such a thing?

The core members of the Tucksons must have been involved. Yahya Tuckson is merely a scapegoat.”

“I see.” James nodded. It was not an easy feat to bankrupt a company worth billions of dollars. There

must have been a ton of connections involved.

Then, he pulled out his phone and called Nathaniel, “Come to my office.”

Soon, Nathaniel arrived.

“Your orders, sir?”

James tossed the documents to Nathaniel and said, “Have a look at this.”

After glancing briefly at the document, Nathaniel said, “Something fishy is definitely going on behind the

scenes. How can a mere manager be capable of accomplishing such a feat? This must be the idea of

the Tucksons’ core members. They must have used their connections and bankrupted Blue Tech

Corporation.”

James ordered, “Establish a special task force and investigate the matter immediately. While you’re at

it, I want you to investigate General Micah and see if he has any connections with the Tucksons. If it’s

revealed that he received bribes from the Tuckson family, he’ll be severely punished.”

Upon hearing this, Nathaniel shivered.

He hurriedly said, “Sir, General Micah is a three-star general. I don’t have the authority to investigate

him. Even if something fishy is going on, the army can only launch an investigation after the King has

provided the required documentation.”

“You have my authorization,” James said.

As the wielder of the Blade of Justice, he could execute a commander-in-chief of an army as he

wished, let alone a mere three-star general.

“After the investigation, I’ll obtain the authorization seal from the higher-ups.”

“Understood.”

Nathaniel nodded. He was relieved upon hearing James’ words.
