act once I execute you,” he said and got out of the car.
After James got out of the car, Madelyn asked, “Do you think James is reliable?”
Yaroslav’s face darkened, and he said, “I don’t know, but I don’t have any other options. I can only
hope that Thomas will save me at critical moments considering that I’ve helped James so much.”
From Yaroslav’s perspective, Thomas was the threatening one, not James. Even now, he had no idea
what agreement Thomas and the Leader came into.
“Let’s return for now.”
“Understood.”
Madelyn drove off.
James, on the other hand, lit a cigarette upon returning to his car.
