A man and a woman walked out.
"James, let's part ways here. I'll get back to the Cadens’ mansion as quickly as I can and tell Grandpa
what happened at Mount Littleroot."
Maxine paused and looked at James. She continued after a moment, "Don't you worry. I won't say a
word about the strength you have right now."
"Okay." James nodded, gave it some thought, then added, "After I'm done with the tasks at hand, I'll
pay a visit to the Cadens’ Mansion as well."
James' visit to the Cadens' mansion this time was to investigate Tobias. He was curious about his
personality and the details of the incident that occurred thirty years ago.
Even though he had heard some of the inside stories from Thea, all he knew was what she had said.

"Bye.” Maxine waved her hand, turned, and walked away. She casually flagged down a taxi on the side
of the road, got in, and drove off.
James watched as she left.
Soon after, he took out his phone and dialed a number.
"Look into Tiara Youngblood for me. I need all of her information as soon as possible."
The person that James called was Henry in the Southern Plains. Even though James was the Dragon
King, the Southern Plains were where he had the most influence and power.
Additionally, the Commander had command over the Capital's intelligence network. The deputy
commander was currently in charge of the intelligence network because the previous Emperor had
passed away and a new Emperor had not yet ascended. He also lacked the authority to make use of

inquired.
