Thea hurriedly said, “If I didn’t mistreat you from the very beginning, Quincy wouldn’t have seized thenovelbin
opportunity and followed you to the Southern Plains to take care of you when you were injured. She
wouldn’t have entered your heart in the first place. It was my fault. I failed as a wife.”
Thea blamed herself. She could not see James’ care and concern for her.

while I’m at it.”

The two headed upstairs.
James wanted to sleep alone. However, Thea was persistent, so he relented.

After she finished showering, Thea walked out of the bathroom draped in a towel.
She hugged James from behind and buried her head in his arms. Then, she reached into the collar of
his shirt and caressed his chest. “Darling, we’ve been married for so long. Let’s make this relationship
‘official’, shall we?”
Thea gave James a flirtatious smile. She was ready to give herself to him.
Besides, James was wavering. She had to do something to make James hers.
James was a man, after all. Unable to bear Thea’s teasing, he put his book aside and said, “Give me
some time, Thea.”

Thea catalyzed True Energy and hugged James tightly. Then, she lifted him and threw him onto the
bed.

James had let his guard down. He leaped and landed on the floor steadily.

Before he could speak, Thea pounced on him and threw him onto the bed.
Then, their lips met, soft and moist.

The commotion woke up Quincy, who was next door.

some sleep?”

She sobbed.
