Chapter 1799 My Mom Does Not Believe It Lucian immediately frowned and glared at his mother. "Mom, it's an accident. What are you talking about?"

Realizing Sonya was placing all the blame on Roxanne, Lucian fumed, "Mom, are you here to see me or make accusations? If you keep doing this in the future, you might as well not come here!" Sonya was rendered speechless.

Roxanne focused on reading the thermometer. When she confirmed Lucian's temperature was within the normal range, she felt a sense of relief. She then helped him up and fed him the medicine.
"A minor accident happened at the research institute. Some impurities were added to the medicines for rheumatism during the manufacturing process. What's weird that fid is that the medicinal effects increased. That's why Old Mr. Lomax contacted me right away. He couldn't figure out what the new component was. So, I'm currently looking into it using a reverse method. If I can find the key, we might be able to use this new method to create the medicine," said Roxanne with a smile. Although she said she was no longer worried about the research institute, it was constantly on her mind.
