Elisabeth locked herself in her room for the past few days. The old man knew she was busy so he didn’t bother her for quite some time. She has to derive her actions according to her plan and it is to complete a month’s worth of tasks and sent them all at once.

Mr. Fisher was sitting in the living room when he heard footsteps. His gaze lifted up to the woman who’s Saunting her dress.

“There you are,” the oldman affirmed. “Are you done with your tasks, Elisa.” Mr. Fisher inquired with excitement glistening in his eyes after so long.

Yes, I just finished! Should I accompany you for a walk, grandpa?” Elisa suggested with a sweet smile.

“Oh, dear. I’d love to.” Elisa’s grandpa was as excited as a child.

As they were about to leave, the old man’s statement made her stunned. “Hold on, dear. Aren’t you going to change your clothes? What about those luxurious bags, jewelries our family gave you? You should use them otherwise it’ll put in waste.” The old man suggested with a question mark in his eyes. Honestly, she didn’t care as Elisa already returned all those things to Robert

As much as possible, she couldn’t let her grandfather know otherwise it’s like stabbing Robert in the back. Her husband already hated her at this point!

“Grandpa, I dress like this. It’s simple. It’s a waste of time to change clothes. I haven’t been out for a few days and now I really want to go out and get some fresh air!” She affirmed with a jolly smile and positivity.

“I haven’t been out for a few days either, and I’m feeling suffocated. Let’s take a nice walk then.”

An hour later, Elisabeth and her grandfather arrived at the latest shopping mall. After a while, the old man took out a small book from his body- a densely records the things he wanted to buy.

This is the homework he carefully did these days, and he even learned to search on the internet what girls liked to wear, the best products, and such. All of those things were seemingly a gift for Elisa. He just didn’t know if these things he listed could be bought here, but if he couldn’t attain everything, he would think of another way to find and buy them.

Grandpa took Elisabeth to the women’s clothing counter and said, “Elisa, a girl’s wardrobe always lacks a new dress for the season, go get one.”

She was stunned a little and nodded her head.

Elisa went out today to create an image of insatiable greed as what Robert mention so compared to last time, she completely gave up on saving.

“Grandpa, the clothes here are exquisite. I like them all!” She falsely affirmed. Elisa knew deep inside her, she can’t afford everything unless a rich man will buy it for her.

“I also think these clothes are very suitable for you.” The grandfather positively said.

The saleswoman was even more attentive. She showed Elisa some newly released clothes.

Just a few clothes and choose a few expensive dresses and that’s it, right?‘ Her mind was clouded with questions the same as this. However, before she could touch anything, the grandfather waved his hand.

“Don’t bother fitting anything, Elisa. What she touch will be automatically put in the card.”

Elisa winced, flabbergast at her grandpa’s remarks.

Robert knew Elisabeth went out with Mr. Fisher. He was impatiently looking at his phone waiting for a notification yet nothing came. He had never been so distracted as today. One thing is for sure, Robert couldn’t focus on work.

He has been waiting for the phone’s notification to buzz yet hours had passed, nothing came. Robert frustratedly turned off the computer and took a deep breath.

Going back, a trace of anger arose in Elisa’s heart. She had been gone for so long yet she hadn’t spent a dime. Elisa already gave her grandpa a hint yet he doesn’t seem to get it. Her grandfather hated greedy people for money, so she restrained herself this time!

He even patiently waited for her for so many days and too brave to play tricks on him.

After shopping for several hours, Elisabeth couldn’t remember what she bought and how much she spent that day. Regardless, Elisa did it according to Robert’s request.

Whether these things can be returned after being bought is not within her consideration.

“Elisa, I still think the girls still need to wear some diamond jewelry. These shiny things are much enticing.” The grandfather suggested. Back then, Elisa only bought a gold. She knows it’s practical but not appealing althought it’s a simple chain around her neck is all she wanted.

The girls should be delicate. Diamonds should enhance the delicacy of the girls. If she were to act according to her heart, she would never accept it. However, when she thought about it through, Elisa came up with a mission and got up determined.

“If that’s the case, then we shall come at the jewelry store then!” She spoke decisively. Her eyes went into. an O shaped as the old man hurriedly dragged her to the jewelry store. He didn’t want to seized this. opportunity. Today Elisa was accepting everything without explanations.

“Please, we want all your limited edition jewelries!” Mr. Fisher read the list in his hands and urged the cashier to prepare.

She knew that all the accessories in front of her were incredibly expensive. Frankly speaking, she had only seen such a large diamond in a crystal chandelier. How can she show that she is greedy when she hasn’t experienced anything yet just for her grandfather to hateher?

Elisa’s hand trembled as soon as she picked up the huge necklace with an enormous diamond in it.

“Miss, this is the treasure of our store! You have a good eye.” The cashier immediately said.

“I’ll take another look at it.” Elisabeth dropped the necklace in her hand.

She picked up another pair of square pink diamond earrings, and the cashier’s voice inclided in her ears again.

“This pair of earrings matches the necklace now, and this brooch and hair accessories are all top quality.” The cashier chose all the big ones!

Elisabeth has no way to estimate the price of these things, for her it must be an absurdly high price!

Her guilty palms were already sweating. Elisa reckoned if she buy all these things, then she’s already greedy, and vain enough to make the old man hate her. Right?

“I like all of them.” She spoke through gritted teeth, and without saying a word, the grandfather took out his card and handed it to the cashier.

“Please, wrap everything up and charge it to my card.” He affirmed nonchalantly.

Elisa’s heart was trembling with fear, she didn’t dare to look at her grandfather’s expression. Buying so much at once must seem like she is insatiable!

When the cashier and other employees wrapped things up, the old man felt a strange of hunger deep inside hum.

“Darling, aren’t you hungry?” Grandpa suddenly asked.

Elisa glanced at her watch. She realized that it was already past five in the afternoon already.
