Chapter 112

Chapter 112

Rosalina did not agree with Crystal‘s approach. “Crystal, let it pass. Since you‘ve already broken upwith him, just go on and live your own life. Leave the rest to your father to handle.”

Although Rosalina was also extremely upset that things had turned out this way, she thought it mightbe better for Crystal to keep an open mind.

Indeed, Trevor was the leader among the young talents in Jonestown, but he was not the only youngtalent out there. If Crystal gave up on Trevor, she could still find a better one.

Thinking of that, Rosalina hurriedly urged, “Give up on him, and I‘ll find a man better than him for you.”

Crystal roared furiously, “What do you take my feelings for. Mom?” »

Rosalina was puzzled to be yelled al, so she muttered unhappily, “I told you to break up and returnhome to win Trevor‘s heart last time, and you didn‘t make a fuss. Why are you not as open–mindedanymore?”

Rosalina did not take her daughter as someone who would be easily swayed by love. She and Thomashad taught her since childhood that family interests were the top priority. Love was not something thatcould bring her money.

Back then, she and Thomas told her that Trevor was a better choice, so Crystal broke up with herboyfriend and returned to the country without saying a word. Rosalina assumed that Crystal could stillbe carefree, but she did not expect Crystal to be so persistent to be with him.novelbin

Crystal wiped away her tears and grunted bitterly, “I don‘t have lingering feelings for Trevor. It justfrustrates me to lose to someone like Emma, who has nothing! How dare she take Trevor away from

me?! I‘m not willing to accept that!” The tone Crystal spoke in emphasized her unwillingness to let himgo.

In fact, to put it bluntly, her so–called unwillingness was nothing but vanity. She had been spoiled sinceshe was a child, so she could not bear to experience any failures or setbacks.

Only she could initiate a breakup; no one could dump her first.

Whether it was her breaking up with that foreign boyfriend or later breaking up with Trevor, she was theone who brought it up first, and it did not make her feel ashamed at all.

Now that she tried her best to marry him, he did not want her anymore. Moreover, it

was because of Emma, that useless woman, Anger boiled within her as she clenched her teeth whenshe thought about it. That was why she wanted revenge against Trevor and Emma.

Rosalina did not expect her daughter to have such a mentality, so she was speechless for a while.

At this moment, Thomas spoke, “What are your plans?”

Crystal snorted. “I have to make a comeback as soon as possible. Emma is also part of theentertainment industry, so I can only teach her a lesson if I stay in this industry!”

According to her connections in the circle over the years, as well as her father‘s wealth, it was easy forher to spite Emma.

So what if Emma had Trevor‘s protection?

Could he protect her 24 hours a day?

So what if Trevor was powerful and wealthy?

Wasn‘t her father the same?

Thomas pondered for a while and said, “No matter what your plans are in the future, don‘t show yourface to the public in the meantime. You can make a comeback when the public opinion has completelyquieted down.”

“Dad!” Crystal whined in dissatisfaction

She could not even wait for a day to make a comeback, but since it was Thomas instructions, she hadno choice but to oblige.

Thomas then added, “Now that the situation has turned out this way, there‘s no way you‘re staying withBateson Group Films. We‘ll get a lawyer to terminate your contract so that you can becomeindependent. Besides, Bateson Group Films is just like any other film agency.”

He dismissively announced, “I will find sponsors to invest in you, and you‘ll be starting your ownentertainment company By then, do your best to crumple Bateson Group Films and AlphaProductions.”

Thomas did not take Trevor seriously. Although Trevor‘s current development was unstoppable,Thomas had devoted his life to the financial industry and high society for half his life. How could a merelittle brat defeat him?

Crystal was initially displeased with Thomas‘ proposal, but when she heard him mention looking forinvestors to set up an entertainment company, she became excited. “Really, Dad? Are you really goingto set up a company for me?”

If she had a company, it would improve her status even more.

Moreover, she could thereafter justifiably suppress Emma and Trevor.

Thomas added, “My daughter shouldn‘t depend on others. I just saw how smart you were trying to getclose to Trevor in Bateson Group Films, so I haven‘t mentioned this to you.”

Finally, a smile grew on Crystal‘s face. “That‘s awesome, Dad. Thank you!”

He uttered, “Okay, it‘s getting late now. Go to bed. You‘re gonna occupy yourself with the establishmentof the company in private soon.”

“Okay.” She thought that Thomas‘ idea of setting up a company for her would save her pride. Once shewas ready with the company, she would have to observe the situation and come up with plans.

Wasn‘t Emma just a little screenwriter? By then, she would reject every story Emma wrote.

The next morning, just before lunch, Emma received a call from Cerys.

“Have you eaten yet?” Cerys asked her on the phone.

Emma, who was sitting in front of the computer and immersing herself in writing the script after thewhole night, exclaimed, “I haven‘t eaten yet! I‘ve been writing the script.”

“Great. I‘ll buy us something to eat and drop by your place. I heard from President Bateson that you‘veinjured your foot. I‘ll come and see you.”

Emma wanted to tell her to save the trouble, but since Cerys said that she wanted to visit her, shecould not refuse.

It just so happened that she did not cat lunch, nor did she have any food in the house.

Susanna left after getting up early, saying that she had a shooting scheduled.

In fact, Wesley called early in the morning and said that he would cook for her at noon but later, heinformed her that his mother was ill, so he had to head back to his hometown to visit her urgently.

She planned to order takeout after writing a paragraph, but she did not realize how much time hadpassed.

Cerys asked, “Didn‘t President Zurich visit you?”

Emma passed on his message. “His mother got sick, so he‘s on the way back to his hometown.”

After hanging up the phone, Cerys went to Trevor‘s office to report to him. “Emma hasn‘t caten yet, soI’ll visit her with the food you ordered.”

Trevor nodded.

She continued, “Emina said that President Zurich‘s mother is sick and he has returned to hishometown. I think you can bring food to visit her in the evening.”

Just when working hours started, Trevor requested Ceryes to order a scrumptious lunch fromZachary‘s restaurant and told her to take it to Emma at noon.

Now, it seemed that he had plenty of chances to do so. If Wesley would not come back in the next fewdays, he would visit her under the pretext of checking on her and delivering meals.

However, Cerys thought it would be more rewarding if he cooked for her and took care of her.Nonetheless, Trevor had zero cooking skills, so he couldn‘t attempt to cook.

Fortunately, he was rich, so he could order the best food from the best restaurants in the city.

Cerys‘ words made Trevor‘s lips curl up slightly because Wesley left just in time. Otherwise, he wouldget upset when he thought of Wesley diligently cooking for Emma these days.

Triggered by Wesley, he considered asking Zachary to teach him how to cook.
