Maddox's gaze was icy cold. The nurse could not help but shiver. She wondered if she wasmistaken.

However, when she took a closer look and realized that Maddox was holding onto the woman'shand tightly, she instantly reacted.

He had his girlfriend by his side; no wonder he was happy.

When they arrived at the hospital, Maddox was pushed into the emergency room as the wound onhis back was too serious.

The door of the emergency room was closed.

Minerva stood there for a while before she slowly turned around and walked away.

There was no expression on Minerva's face. "The video is the evidence but I'd like to ask someoneto take custody of her right now. She still has sulfuric acid with her and I'm worried that she'll hurtpeople again."

I can't be so heartless," Minerva said, flinging Quill’s handaway with all her might. "Quill, I know that you care about me, but I'm no longer a child anymore.Even if you want to make up for what you owed me back when I was young, you've done enoughfor the past few years. She thought that it would be better if Quill could help to solve this problem, but she didn't expect thatthis matter would create a conflict between the siblings!

"I'm going to the hospital to visit him. You can accompany Quill home first.¹'

As he heard her voice, Maddox's eyelashes trembled slightly. Then, he looked up at her and fixedhis eyes on her slender body.

"Didn't I tell you not to leave?"

Minerva didn't know how to answer.

This man was easily irritated. How could he still remember that at this moment?

She could only go forward to explain, ''The company was in chaos and Janice has hurt someone. Ihave to make a trip to the police station to make a report, so..."
