Sam handed the box to Kimberly. Kimberly reached out her hand to take it. She found that therewas a gown inside it after opening it.
"Put it on and accompany me to the banquet."
Kimberly was stunned. Then, she said, "But, I have something else to do. I promised to eat out withVera."
Upon hearing that, Maddox frowned slightly. "You've spent a lot of time with her in these two days.Can't you accompany me to the banquet? You can postpone your date with her."
"But I have already promised her..." Kimberly said. However, it was mainly because she hadsomething very important to do that night. Why would Maddox ask her to go to the banquet now?
