Chapter 4014

Lionel raised his voice, and said firmly and emotionally, "So if Jack had just helped out, there wouldn'thave been so many dead! He just watched on as so many people died. He could have stood up andbecome a leader with how famous he is, but he decided to ignore it all..."novelbin

"He didn't step up to lead those survivors who were in despair and fight against those people! He hadhis conflicts with them, but he still refused to do it! There's no reason other than the fact that he looksdown on regular warriors. On top of that, he's so selfish. He's clearly even more despicable than thosepeople!"

Jack heard every single one of those words and was a bit taken aback by them.

What was he saying?

Jack was to be blamed for not helping and for watching those people die?

Jack was only stunned for a few moments before he slowly realized what exactly Mason was saying.

Right after Mason said that, quite a few people nodded in agreement, feeling like Mason was right.

Jack needed to take responsibility for so many people dying too!

Looking at that many people agreeing with him, Mason was even more excited.

He was like a spokesperson as he raised his voice again and said, "Jack is not an idiot. I've interactedwith him before. He's an incredibly smart person, so he saw through all those schemes."

"He clearly knew that everything was a scheme, but he did not tell anyone about it, and causedeveryone to be fooled. In the end, so many people died because of that! Heartblood needs to be

collected when the victim is in complete fear!"

"Those people used such ruthless methods to guarantee they'll get as much Heartblood as possibleand caused many people to die. Your fellow disciples or friends-they shouldn't have died! They only losttheir lives because Jack is cold-blooded!"

As he said that, Mason's eyes started to turn red. It was as if he was sympathetic toward the victims.

That sorrowful look on his face immediately got a lot of the people around him to agree with him.

"You're right! Jack is just too selfish. He clearly knew about everything, but he refused to tell anyoneabout it. He could have led everyone to fight against those shameless and despicable people in theend, but he ignored everything! He's no different than those people!"

Lionel nodded vigorously, "That's right! He's in the same boat as those people. There's no differencebetween them! He has some conflicts with them, but he refuses to stand with the regular warriors. Those people need to be punished! We should work to make them pay the price!"

He got more and more excited as he spoke, and his blood even started to boil. Quite a few peopleended up getting excited as well, and they loudly cheered that they would make Jack pay a price. Thatwas because Jack was the one who caused those they knew to die on the Toman Battlefield.

If Jack had helped, then the situation would not have gotten to that stage.

They had the moral high ground, and they blamed Jack for all sorts of things, calling Jack a shamelessand despicable person. Slandering Jack and those warriors at the peak as they would stop at nothingfor their own benefit.

Lionel continued to shout, "We need to make them pay a painful price! Only then will they stop doinganything to us and stop treating us like livestock!"

"That's right! We have to make them pay a painful price! Those ruthless and despicable men need toknow we're not to be played around with! They need to fear even trying to attack us!"
