Chapter 4001

When Gulden saw that, his whole body froze.

He looked like he had just lost his father, "Impossible! This shouldn't be happening... It's not fair!"

Jerald's name was ahead of Gulden's and was ranked first.

The two of them managed to get three points each, but that was not what Gulden cared about at thatmoment. The most important part was the fact that that dog's results were better than his own!

Gulden could not accept it at all.

He suddenly turned around, and his eyes looked like they were about to pop out of their sockets as hepointed at Jerald, "This isn't fair! Our results aren't that different, so why are you standing above me?Something must be wrong with the rules. The test wasn't conducted properly!"

Jerald was still recovering at that moment. His face was still pale, but he was quite spirited thanks tohis results.

After hearing what Gulden said, he sneered and held his head high, "What a joke! You were justjudging others with such self-righteousness for speaking ill of the rules earlier, but what are you doingright now? Do you think that you're fairer and just than the ancient hero who created these rules?"

Gulden's face suddenly reddened as he thought about it. It really was quite a joke.

Earlier, Gulden had been so self-righteous, but when it was his turn, he did the exact same thing.

Gulden gulped. He looked like he had just eaten a bomb and could explode at any moment. Heclenched his teeth viciously as he glared at Jerald.

He was not happy with the result and did not agree with it. He could not have lost to Jerald!

There must be a problem with the test!

He was certain of it, but he could not voice it out. After all, after what he said earlier, he would just belaughed at if he ended up objecting to the results. Jerald's expression was cold. He had beenthoroughly angered as well.

He scoffed and said, "Gulden, I don't know where you got all your confidence from. How are you sosure that I'm not better than you? Why isn't anyone else allowed to be stronger than you?"

"Are you the strongest person in the world?!"

"Every time I see you, you act like you're the best. You have so much arrogance as if no one can touchyou. You think that it's only natural, but others see you as a complete joke. I know why you always actso arrogantly as well. It's all just because you're from the Star Continent. The warriors of Star Continentare very united. You pile on everyone who offends you like dogs!"

The two of them already had their conflicts before this.

Jerald had tolerated Gulden the whole time to prevent any unnecessary trouble, but Gulden kept onpushing it. He understood that Gulden would only continue to get worse if he was not taught a lesson.

Jerald wanted to slap Gulden in the face. There was no need for him to tolerate all of that.

Jerald walked forward with his head held high, saying, "Others didn't ignore your challenges becauseyou're strong. Do you think others are afraid or respect you just because you act so arrogantly?"

"It's because you're like a dog that won't let go the moment you bite someone!"

"They just don't want any trouble! You're still complaining about the results being unfair after we've allseen it as if you're that much stronger than us all. Let me give you a piece of advice. Wake up! Youaren't that strong!"

"There are plenty here who are stronger than you. Others aren't ignoring you because you're strong, but because you're an annoyance!"novelbin
