Chapter 3882

Lourain gritted his teeth and said, "So you think it's just a plot? What kind of plot is it? What are theytrying to do?"

Jack raised an eyebrow and said calmly, "It's probably related to opening the Radiant Hall, but that'sjust my guess. As for what they're thinking, I'll need more details to be able to guess. The rules of theToman Battlefield are quite interesting..."

Marth's eyes lit up and said, "Is it the rule that the space will shrink by half every day?"

Jack nodded.novelbin

The Toman Battlefield was similar to Chaos City, but it was different in many ways as well. The biggestdifference was that the space inside was not fixed.

Every warrior had a limited time to attempt the challenge. It was a total of seven days, and the spacewould shrink by half every day.

For instance, if the original space was 10 kilometers, it would shrink to five on the second day. On thethird day, it would shrink by half again, leaving it with 2.5 kilometers. Of course, that was just anexample. In truth, the Toman Battlefield was incredibly large-more than a few cities added up together.

Even on the seventh day, after the place had shrunk several times, it was still larger than a normal city. The closer one got to the center, the stronger the beasts one would meet.

When one started at the outskirts, they would mostly encounter green demons. The more the spaceshrunk, however, the closer to the center they would get, and the stronger the demons they would befighting.

On the seventh day, it would be very easy to meet unique demons or even demon kings.

Facing these two types of demons, most of the warriors would not be able to defeat them. As long asthose warriors ran fast enough and did not confront the higher-level beasts, they would be able tosurvive, seeing as these two types would not attack humans if humans were fast enough. Thus, even ifthere were a lot of regular warriors that signed up, around 70% of them would still survive.

Those who perished might have met their doom because they overestimated themselves, or perhapsthey were just unlucky enough to barge into a beast's

nest.

Because of this, most of the regular warriors were eager to try their luck. Even if they could not killcrimson demons, they were still able to kill green demons with

teamwork.

To regular warriors, any scraps they could obtain were good enough. Even a few hundred spirit crystalswere worthwhile.

To above-average warriors, it was a minute sum, but based on the numbers, regular warriors made upover 70% of all the participants. The above-average ones were over 20%, while the rest were thewarriors that stood at the peak.

Warriors frantically struggled to climb higher, and no one would give up on a chance to improvethemselves.

The Toman Battlefield was a challenge for a level-one city. Most warriors would not let go of the chancewhen it was opened up to the whole Whirling World.

The battlefield was basically a stepping stone for them to get stronger. Even Lourain had gotten greedywhen he heard about it.

He was so excited that he did not even think about the rules. Even Marth had not realized it.

Their reactions were how most warriors had reacted.

Just because it was a challenge from a level-one city, it already triggered the greed of most warriors. After all, most regular warriors would never be able to step into a level-one city, let alone attempt achallenge there.

The arguments around them grew louder, which attracted Jack's attention again.

He turned around to look, and the man with the unibrow was acting incredibly anxious at that moment. His eyes were incredibly frantic, and he seemed completely helpless.
