Chapter 3842

Lourain had a dark look on his face.

He was just about to say something when he thought about it and realized that Marth was right. If hedid not know anything about Jack, he would definitely be utterly shocked by Jack's actions like most ofthe other warriors there.

He would feel that Jack was just a completely crazy person looking for attention.

The caretaker did not delay things for a moment because of the shock and all the discussions there.

After everything was done, the betting area was opened up.

This time, the betting area's rules had changed because of Jack. They no longer betted on who wouldbe able to kill the golden armored fighter the quickest, but whether or not Jack would win.novelbin

The odds for both outcomes were one to two, and the odds would change based on the bets. Thespectator stands were once again in an uproar. Ninety percent of the warriors there started to chargetoward the betting area the moment it opened.

Everyone was fighting for the chance to place their bets. After all, the odds would change based on thenumber of bets.

If they were too late, the odds would drop too much, and they would lose out quite a bit even if theyplaced their bets. If they weren't worried about the restrictions, they would have started fighting eachother.

Everyone wanted to be in front.

Looking at how everyone was fighting over the bet, Crash turned to look at Jack again.

He saw Jack calmly looking forward, quietly observing everyone rushing to the betting area. UnlessJack was really sick in the head, there was no way Jack would be so calm at the sight.

To Crash, the calmness must be an act.

Crash pursed his lips and could not help but say, "You're quite good at acting. Just look at everyonefighting to place a bet. Could you be thinking that they're trying to bet on you?"

Jack raised an eyebrow, ignoring Crash's words.

Crash was once again annoyed when he saw that Jack was ignoring him.

He did not care as he continued to ask, "Don't think that we can't tell what's going on just becauseyou're avoiding the topic. I'm really curious as to why you're doing this. Are you really that suicidal?"

Jack raised an eyebrow, "No matter what I say, you'll just make your own assumptions anyway. Thechallenge is about to start, why don't you just watch?"

Crash's mouth stiffened. He suddenly found himself unable to say anything.

He had wanted to say that he would not be able to ask any more questions once the challenge started.

Lane would be cut apart, and only his corpse would be left.

What would there be left to see?

Crash pursed his lips, really wanting to voice that out. However, based on that guy's temper, the guywould definitely make things even more difficult for him if he said that. Then, he would just beembarrassed and be made a joke for no reason.

With that in mind, he was forced to swallow his words. Monte stood by the side and watched theconflicted look on Crash's expression. Even if Crash did not say anything, Monte still understoodCrash's thoughts at that moment.

He said with a cold smile, "You should stop trying to talk to a crazy guy. He thinks you're annoying, soshouldn't you shut up?"

Even though Monte was curious as to what Jack wanted to do as well, he was not someone who wouldbe stubborn enough to keep asking questions. Crash's face reddened in anger, "Stop trying to be snidewith me. Are you not curious as well? Once this guy goes in, you won't be able to ask anymore." Thebetting area was bustling. Normally, only about sixty to seventy percent of the warriors wouldparticipate in the bets. Even though betting was something that stirred their spirits, they could not do itwithout any assurance. Normally, a lot of warriors would not participate in the betting.
