Chapter 3776

Rowan could not accept the fact. After all, he had looked down on that man who only spoutednonsense the whole time. Even though he could not see the masked man's true face, it was obviousthat he was from a third-grade world from how he dressed.

The Star Continent was at the peak of second-grade worlds. He did not regard regular second-gradeworlds as worth his notice at all, let alone third- grade worlds.

In fact, these third-grade-world warriors were nothing but vermin to him, not even worth standing by hisside, let alone being his enemy.

Even though Rowan knew strong warriors from third-grade worlds existed, he always discounted theface. Thus, the fact that there was a strong warrior from a third-grade world on-par with him strength-wise was something he could not accept at all.

Rowan had expected Jack to pee in his pants the moment he attacked, he was a vermin that he shouldhave squashed with his foot.

That would have been what Rowan really wanted, yet Jack was genuinely skilled, and the merethought frustrated Rowan.

He glared at Jack with absolute hatred.

Compared to the anger Rowan was feeling, Randall seemed much calmer. However, that was all juston the surface.

Frankly, Randall had a harder time than Rowan. It was irritating that the masked man was actually thatstrong. However, the masked man was not the most concerning part about their situation, but whetheror not they needed to attack immediately.

Randall was wondering if he needed to deny the masked man any chance of turning the tables.

Percy had considered all of the things Randall was conflicted about at that moment. If Randall attackedat the moment, they would have gone against their earlier agreement.

It was not that big of a deal, but the main thing was that it would give others the impression that theStar Continent was afraid of Jack, humiliating themselves for all eyes to see. If they attacked Jack tooearly, they would be jeered and laughed at by everyone else once the news got out.

These pests would surely spread the humiliation of Star Continent far and wide the moment they heardabout it, dragging their reputation to the filth. If that were to happen, the Star Continent's reputationwould be affected and make Randall a criminal in the Star Continent's eyes.

That was something he did not want to happen!

However, if they did not do anything, Jack could very well turn the tides in his favor. After all, no oneknew how much strength Jack would still have after eliminating the beast, and 10 seconds might not beenough to get rid of that guy.

Randall wondered if Jack still had anything else up his sleeve.novelbin

The other participants merely watched on. They did not want to participate in Jack's conflict with theStar Continent. After all, not everyone wanted to be a dog to Star Continent. They had merely beenwatching in interest, but they quickly perished the thought.

They were smart, after all, and this was something that could be easily understood by just thinkingabout the situation. It seemed like things would not be as simple as they thought.

"Ah! It hurts!" Hamish writhed on the floor and cried out in pain on the ground.

Everyone remembered how that guy was a persistent braggart in front of Jack and said he would makethe other party suffer for his actions.

They remembered how visibly pleased he was when he said those words, too.

In just a moment, he was reduced to such a sorry state and a poor expression. This was the result ofnot knowing his place.

Without understanding the situation, he acted based on his sole assumptions. In the end, he sufferedthe consequences, being beaten down so badly that all he could do was spasm in pain.

Everyone thought that Hamish was just a joke from how he was acting before this.

When he was cursing at everyone else, he was so pleased with himself!

"Hamish had it coming. His skills are nothing special, but he acted like he was a god. He didn't evenbother to study how strong his opponent was before challenging him so eagerly. In the end, he wasn'teven able to stand up to a single attack. What a joke!"
