Chapter 3652

Before this, Case and the others were so confident in assuming that Jack was just full of himself, thathe had been caught up by his own words and forced to join the fog battlefield with them.

Thinking about it, they truly did assume too much.

Jack had not felt like they were worth his notice at all. Entering the fog battlefield with them was just sohe would be able to get the skeleton badges from them to exchange for treasures. They were thepompous

ones.

Case inhaled deeply. He felt his whole body tremble in utter humiliation.

Jack sneered and said, "Your so-called plan wasn't smart at all. Anyone who thought about it would beable to see through it. You gathered so many people, and it's obvious that it's a pact to kill me. Sinceyou want to work together, you'd need to gather yourselves, or it'd be useless. It's not easy to gather inthe fog battlefield."

Jack reached out and touched the dense fog. "The fog obscures sight and sound, so the hardest partof your plan is to gather. After all, the transfer array sent us all to different places."

"Even though the fog obscured everything here, it's not that large of a place, and the geography neverchanges. A lot of warriors enter the fog battlefield as well. Some of you probably questioned thewarriors who had entered before and drew a simple map. You used that map to find a gathering spot!"

It had been easy to figure out their plan.

Jack had heard a lot of talk on the way from Cloud Valley. Some of the chatter involved people wantingto buy maps. When he heard that, everything became clear.

Unfortunately, Case was too busy thinking of how he would torture Jack to death. Even after he heardthose conversations, he did not think too much about it. He never expected that Jack would be able toguess their whole plan just from hearing that.

15 warriors from the Swelling Tide Continent entered the fog battlefield. Jack happened to meet oneand learned where they were headed from there. After that, it went much easier. A total of six warriorshad died in Jack's hands.

Case thought that his plan was foolproof, but Jack had seen through it from the start.

Jack raised an eyebrow as he looked at Case, the scorn in his eyes almost palpable.novelbin

Case took a deep breath. "You won't beat us! No matter how strong you are, there are nine of us here. You're already injured, right? The injuries aren't light either!"

"Stop acting all-powerful, thinking that you can fool us. While you were talking just now, you were tryingto regulate your breathing. You were trying to use your true energy to stabilize your wounds whiletalking to us!"

Jack raised an eyebrow, not denying it. He had to say that Case's observational skills were decent.

Case was right, his injuries were relatively heavy. His injuries were even worse than Jimmy's. Heunderestimated how strong the nine of them were together.

Even though the Soul Burst Ring had taken the brunt of the attack, Jack was still injured. When he hadbeen sent flying earlier, he felt his ribs breaking. He was only able to stand there because his injurieswere still not enough to be considered heavy and also because he wanted to complete his plan.

Case was not planning on letting him off, and he was not planning on letting them off either.

Case smirked as he looked at Jack with a sharp gaze.

"I can't believe you accepted that. It looks like your injuries aren't light after all! Since that's the case, you should understand the situation you're in. If you want to blame anything, then blame yourself. Youwere too confident in yourself. Otherwise, it'd be very easy for you to go against the Swelling TideContinent with your ability."
