Star Continent had always done whatever they pleased. Other than what was happening, he never hadto make any concessions. Even when Percy said all of that, he felt a pain in his chest.
The feeling of being wronged crept up all over his body.
He hated Jack to the core at that moment, but there was nothing else he could do. That was the onlyway he could minimize their losses.
Jack could not stop himself from laughing when he heard what Percy had to say.
He looked at Percy with a mocking expression, "Don't you think what you're doing is such a joke? Doyou think I care about your rewards? If I didn't have the skills, would you have let me off with a bit ofcompensation?"

Percy was so furious his hands trembled. He was not able to answer Jack at all.
From Jack's perspective, it really was a complete mockery. Everything Jack said was right. Percy didnot know how to answer at all!
The spectators were about to applaud Jack at that moment.

Jack raised an eyebrow as he looked at Percy arrogantly. Even at this point, Percy was still speakingas if he had the advantage over Jack.
Even though it sounded like Percy was trying to negotiate, he was not giving Jack any room to do that.He was merely trying to make Jack give up just by taking one step back.
It was just a complete joke!
Jack scoffed and said, "If you have the skills, then come at me. However, I'll make things clear. As longas you continue to come for me, then make sure you're always alert. I won't hold back on my revenge."
