Chapter 3556

The moment Rudy said that, a rumble could be heard from ahead of them. Lifting his head, he spottedthe Crimson Tortoise he had just talked about.

The massive shell was filled with red-colored seals, and its whole body was surrounded by heat waves. In front of the Crimson Tortoise was a man in gray robes, the man they had seen.

Rudy’s lips twitched. “It’s a plot! This is definitely a plot!”

Anyone would have been able to figure that out. It was just that Rudy could not understand why theywere doing that. He anxiously pulled at his hair, and his heart was beating rapidly, getting more andmore anxious as he thought about it.

Rudy looked at the two that were far away. “Those two are warriors from second-grade worlds, andthey must be plotting against those from third-grade worlds. Surely we can’t just do nothing about it!”

After that was said, Rudy shut his mouth and held his tongue. Even though the two of them were fromHestia, a third-grade world, they could not stick their hands into everything as though they were saviorsof third-grade worlds.

The other warriors from third-grade worlds would not truly appreciate them, anyway. It was a worldwhere the strong were worshiped; hard work got nothing. When there were no benefits for themselves,it was better to not interfere with anything.

Jack turned to look at Rudy. “We’ll look at the situation for now, but let’s keep following them. If we’repatient enough, we might gain something. We came here for ourselves, not to save anyone. It’s not likeanyone will thank you for it, anyway.”

Rudy hurriedly nodded, no longer daring to say anything.

The two that were far away started to close in. The one in front of the Ice Toad made a hand signal tothe one in front of the Crimson Tortoise.

Jack and Rudy could see the other man nodding. The man in front of the Ice Toad immediatelychanged directions to head southeast.

The one with the Crimson Tortoise went northeast. The two of them seemed to be heading in twodifferent directions at a 45-degree angle, but Jack was almost sure that they were headed to the sameplace.

Rudy said anxiously, “Jack, they separated. Who are we going to follow?”

Jack took a deep breath as his eyes darted around.

Various thoughts formed in his head. It was an important moment. If he was not careful, he could verywell lead himself to disaster. He needed to keep absolutely calm to make the best decision.

After a few moments of silence, Jack pointed forward. “We won’t follow either of them. We’ll go east!”

Rudy was stunned. His lips froze, and he was going to ask the reason.novelbin

However, Jack did not plan on explaining as he shot forward, going as quickly as he could toward theeast.

Rudy opened his mouth but did not say anything in the end, only following Jack.

He was sure that Jack knew where to go, but not the reason they were going there. He did not knowwhy Jack made the decision. It was clear that following one of the two was the safest choice, but Jacknever made the wrong decision before.

Rudy swallowed his questions.

As they proceeded eastward, Rudy was surprised to notice that the wastelands were starting to changein shape. Small hills began to be seen. The ground was uneven as if it had been smashed out bysomething.

Rudy looked down to inspect it as he went forward. Some of those craters were formed by attacks, while some were natural. They were heading trite toward the east, which happened to be right at thecenter of Chaos City.
