Chapter 467

Chase snatched the card and chuckled, "Piece of cake, I'll go first. Who's gonna tag in?"

Roger stepped up, declaring, "That's my cue."

Chase carefully balanced the card between his lips, inching it towards Roger's mouth.

Just as they were about to pass the baton, Roger burst into laughter. "Did you brush your teeth thismorning, man? Don't pass your stink onto me—my wife won't come near me later."

Chase's mood, which had been building, was ruined by the comment, and he snapped, "Beat it!This is my first kiss, and I sure as hell didn't plan on wasting it on you."

Everyone stared at him incredulously, "Didn't you say you kissed Sasha last time? How are you?Have you yet to have your first kiss? Or were you just talking big?"

At that, Sasha erupted from behind the door, furiously yelling, "Chase, you SOB, just you wait!"

Chase kicked Roger playfully and chuckled at the door. "Hey Sasha, watch the language, we're oncamera."

"To hell with your camera, you think I'm scared? Just get on with it."

After several hilarious fails, they finally completed the task.

The moment the door swung open, Ian pounced like a hungry tiger, rushing towards Clara. Seeingher sitting there, resplendent in a wedding gown, complete with a glittering tiara, Ian was struckdumb. His heart skipped a beat—or so it felt.

Taking a few seconds to regain his composure, he approached Clara, knelt on one knee, andextended a bouquet of flowers, gazing at her with fervent eyes. "Babe, let's start our journey."

The entire wedding door challenge was a riot of laughter, enough to momentarily distract Caseyfrom the sadness of his daughter's departure. But when Clara descended the stairs, he could nolonger hold back his tears.

With her own eyes brimming, Clara held Casey's hands, her voice choked with emotion, "Dad,thank you for all the years of care. As I marry today, I'll remember everything you taught me—to bea good wife, mother, and daughter-in-law. I just want you to be healthy, happy, and blessed in yourlater years."

Clara looked up, tears streaming down her face. Only she and her father truly understood the depthof the moment.

Casey embraced her tightly, his own tears falling freely as he comforted her, "My dear child, nomore tears. You're married, but we can still see each other every day. I just want you to be happyand safe."

After paying respects to her grandparents, Clara and Ian got into the car.

The ceremony began promptly at eleven eighteen in the morning. Watching the couple on stage,Casey turned to Teo with misty eyes. "Can we finally take a breath? Once they exchange rings, it'sall done."

Teo, equally moved, replied, "It should be fine now. It's almost over."novelbin

Then, as the officiant on stage announced, "We'll now proceed with the exchange of rings. May thegroom place the ring on his bride's finger, promising to stand by her through thick and thin."

Ian took the delicate ring from its box and slid it onto Clara's finger.

"And now," continued the officiant, "may the bride place the ring on the groom's finger, signifying abond that will last until their hair turns white with age."

Clara's face glowed with happiness as she reached into the box to get Ian's ring. But in a shockingtwist, the waiter holding the ring box suddenly pulled a knife from underneath the tray and lungedstraight at Clara.
