No sooner had the announcement ended than the plane jolted violently once more Screams echoedthrough the cabin assengers were jostled from their seats.

“lan, are you alright?”

“I’m okay, Clara. Just hold on to me, and don’t let go.”

While speaking, lan yanked off his tie and used it to secure Clara to the bathroom door handle,shielding her with his body.

As the aircraft’s shaking intensified, the sensation of plummeting caused Clara to scream. Shewrapped her arms sightly sound lans neck, her whole body quivering. She repeatedly called out hisname.

Though lan took the brunt of the impact, sensing Clara’s reliance on him offered some solace to hisbattered heart. Like a human shield, he protected her beneath him. He murmured assurances,“Don’t be afraid, it’ll be over soon”

However, with each jolt, his body absorbed the harsh blows.

Clara could feel the pain that each collision inflicted upon him. Tears welled in her eyes as shegazed at him, “Tan, just look after yourself. Il manage on my own. Go hold onto that handrail.” novelbin

Far from letting go, lan held her even tighter.

“Clara, keep holding on. I won’t ever leave you again. I need to protect you, for life”

His voice was broken and raspy, but it pierced Clara’s heart like a knife. She wished he had saidthose words when she desperately needed his help, when she was drugged and in penl.

But time can’t be rewound, and the wounds of the past are not easily forgotten.

Tears streamed down Clara’s face uncontrollably, “lan, just take care of yourself.”

Looking down, lan saw the tear–streaked face before him. Tenderly, he brushed the tip of her nose.“Clara, give me another chance please? Just one. If I fail to protect you, you can cut ties with me.Then I promise I won’t bother you again.”

His plea was heartfelt, leaving Clara momentarily lost for words.

Just then, the plane began to stabilize, and a rapid knocking sounded from outside, accompaniedby Anders urgent calls. Clars felt like she had seen a savior. She quickly said, “lan, it seems to beokay now, let me go.”

lan, wincing with pain, steadied her against the wall, his eyes darkening further. “You haven’tanswered my question, Clara. Will you give me another chance? Let me win you back.”

Before she could finish, the restroom door burst open. Anders stood there, concem efched acrosshis face. “Clara, are you alright? Are you hurt?”

He hurried to her side, undoing the tie and carefully checking her over. Only when he was sure shewas unscathed did his tension ease.

Noticing lan’s disheveled state, Anders surmised the events and nodded politely. “Thank you, Mr.Hayes. She’s quite shaken. Пl take her to rest for a bit.” With that, Anders led Clara away.

Dawson rushed over as well, “Mr. Hayes, are you injured? Let me have a look.”

As Dawson approached, lan pointed to his chest with a sorrowful look, “Here, can you heal this?”
