Chapter 809

Since Matilda was willing to treat Isabelle well without any ulterior motive, it proved that she wasn’t abad person in nature.

Sophia let out a sigh. “She had lived a lavish life all this while, so she’d become too willful. After whathad happened, she had reflected upon it.”

Old Mrs. Constance nodded. “Yes, William overly doted on her in the past.”

At the mention of William, Sophia went on, “I wonder if Madam Bloom had told Master William abouther visit some time ago. I could tell that she was really embarrassed that day.”

Turning to Sophia, Old Mrs. Constance said, “Stop beating around the bush. What do you really wantto say?”

Sophia guffawed. “I’ll be direct with you since you’ve said so. This is just a question I want to ask formyself. Since I couldn’t get the answer from Matilda, it’s getting unbearable for me.”

Old Mrs. Constance smirked. “Just ask away.”

Gazing at her, Sophia questioned, “Between Yolanda and Matilda, who do you prefer?”

After giving it a thought, Old Mrs. Constance frowned. “I don’t have a bias toward any of them. I lovethe fact that Yolanda is a straightforward woman, but I can’t really forget what happened in the past. Onthe other hand, Matilda was a hot-tempered woman previously, but she really loved William. There areboth good and bad sides to them. Now, I don’t want to interfere in their lives. William will make his owndecision.”

Upon finding out her stance, Sophia said, “You’re right. They have their own lives to live after all.”

After they chatted for a bit, Matilda called Sophia to tell her that the Flintstones didn’t want her to stay inConstance Residence. After the divorce, she had nothing to do with William anymore, so if they stilllived together, they were bound to invite gossip.

Moreover, the Flintstones were worried that if William brought home a woman he loved one day,Matilda would be put in an embarrassing situation. Also, Sophia would receive good care at ConstanceResidence, so Matilda really shouldn’t go back again. novelbin

This was the best arrangement for both the Flintstones and the Constances. After some consideration,Matilda had to agree with her family members.

If she stayed in Constance Residence, and William really brought home a woman one day, she wouldbe humiliated. Also, if William told her that he had found a woman he loved, and demanded that sheshould move out, her reputation would be ruined.

Sophia grunted. “Alright. Maybe you should stay in your own home. Don’t worry. I will stay here toobserve William and give you updates frequently.”

Matilda smiled. “Okay. I’m not going over today, since I don’t have much stuff there.”

After they chatted a while longer, they ended the call.

Honestly, life here is boring without Matilda, Sophia thought. She then decided to leave the mainbuilding to take a stroll around the backyard. Right then, she saw a car coming over from afar. After

pulling over, Dylan got out of the vehicle quickly, while Sophia kept walking toward him.

Seeing her, Dylan halted his steps to wait for her to reach him. Then, he inquired, “Why are you takinga walk alone?”

Sophia flashed a smile at him. “I’m bored, so I’ve decided to take a stroll alone. Although I’m pregnant,I don’t really need an escort, do I?”

As they walked toward the backyard, Sophia asked why he had returned at this hour.

Dylan sighed. “I’ve been a little muddle-headed recently. I brought home a document last night, but Iforgot to take it with me this morning when I went to work, so I had to come home again.”
