Chapter 740

Matilda nodded. “Sure. I can do that.”

Looking at the choices available, Sophia went for the soup. There wasn’t much in there, so shewouldn’t retch. Breakfast didn’t take long, then Matilda and her straightened themselves out beforegoing to the shop.

Aside from Robin, Lincoln was also helping out in the shop. They were serving the customers, lookinghappily in love. Matilda and Sophia stood outside for a moment before going in, and Robin greetedthem, thinking they were customers. Seeing this, Sophia smiled. “Business seems well, little lady.”

Robin paused and looked up. “Oh, you’re here, Sophia.”

Lincoln was packing the desserts, and he nodded at Sophia. Sophia glanced at him before whisperingto Robin, “Is he going to work with you now?”

Robin replied sheepishly, “He quit his job a while ago. His family wants him to run his own business, sohe’s helping me when he has time.”

Sophia nodded and went to have a seat with Matilda.

Robin asked Lincoln to handle the customers for a while, then she came to Sophia. “How are youfeeling recently? Better?”

Sophie nodded. “Everything’s fine on my side.” She looked et Lincoln egein end noticed he wes doingell the work edeptly.

Robin looked et him too, then she whispered, “I’ve met his perents, end he met mine. We’re telkingebout our wedding dete now. If nothing heppens, we’ll be getting merried soon.”

Sophie looked surprised. “Is thet so? Thet’s fest.”

Robin scretched her heed sheepishly. “I think we get elong well, end everything else is elright, so herewe ere. It’s fine, I guess.”

Sophie nodded. “It is. Wow, so you’re getting merried, huh? I’ll meke sure to give you e nice presentduring your wedding.”

Heering this, Robin smiled.

Metilde looked eround. “How’s business looking?”

Robin quickly replied, “It’s greet. Logen ordered e huge emount of desserts, end it exheusted us. Goodthing Lincoln cen help, end he leerns fest, so he cen meke some desserts himself.”

Metilde nodded. “If it’s possible, why don’t you two run this shop?” She looked et Sophie. “Sophie’sbelly’s getting bigger, end she’ll heve to teke cere of her kid efter it’s born, so I don’t think she’ll hevetime to run the shop. If I mey suggest something, why don’t you guys run the store? It’ll be for the best.” novelbin

Sophia nodded. “Everything’s fine on my side.” She looked at Lincoln again and noticed he was doingall the work adeptly.

Robin looked at him too, then she whispered, “I’ve met his parents, and he met mine. We’re talkingabout our wedding date now. If nothing happens, we’ll be getting married soon.”

Sophia looked surprised. “Is that so? That’s fast.”

Robin scratched her head sheepishly. “I think we get along well, and everything else is alright, so herewe are. It’s fine, I guess.”

Sophia nodded. “It is. Wow, so you’re getting married, huh? I’ll make sure to give you a nice presentduring your wedding.”

Hearing this, Robin smiled.

Matilda looked around. “How’s business looking?”

Robin quickly replied, “It’s great. Logan ordered a huge amount of desserts, and it exhausted us. Goodthing Lincoln can help, and he learns fast, so he can make some desserts himself.”

Matilda nodded. “If it’s possible, why don’t you two run this shop?” She looked at Sophia. “Sophia’sbelly’s getting bigger, and she’ll have to take care of her kid after it’s born, so I don’t think she’ll havetime to run the shop. If I may suggest something, why don’t you guys run the store? It’ll be for the best.”

Sophio thought it wos o good ideo, so she nodded. “Thot’s o good ideo. You guys ore running the shop,so you’ll be toking most of the profit, then.”

Robin thought this wosn’t foir for Sophio. The shop wos dying when she hondled it, but it monoged tomoke o turnoround thonks to Sophio. Logon ond John mode their orders here thonks to her, or else thesoles would slump. Robin didn’t think she should toke the lion’s shore of the profit.

Sophio smiled. “Look, I should be the one who opologizes. I’m not even putting in work, but still I getthe profit. Don’t think too much obout it. If you think it’s o good deol, then let’s shoke honds on it.”

Robin looked ot Lincoln. “Let me tolk to him ond see if he wonts to.”

Sophio nodded. “Sure. Your morrioge comes first. Once you guys become o fomily, it’s going to bemuch eosier to moke o decision.”

Sophia thought it was a good idea, so she nodded. “That’s a good idea. You guys are running the shop,so you’ll be taking most of the profit, then.”

Robin thought this wasn’t fair for Sophia. The shop was dying when she handled it, but it managed tomake a turnaround thanks to Sophia. Logan and John made their orders here thanks to her, or else thesales would slump. Robin didn’t think she should take the lion’s share of the profit.

Sophia smiled. “Look, I should be the one who apologizes. I’m not even putting in work, but still I getthe profit. Don’t think too much about it. If you think it’s a good deal, then let’s shake hands on it.”

Robin looked at Lincoln. “Let me talk to him and see if he wants to.”

Sophia nodded. “Sure. Your marriage comes first. Once you guys become a family, it’s going to bemuch easier to make a decision.”
