Chapter 2191

Ian smiled. "Perhaps you can talk to Ms. Jones and ask her to pick someone who's not too hard tocommunicate with."

The driver smacked his lips. "I shouldn't say this, but out of everyone in the company, you're the onlyone who's open to discussion. The others are equally troublesome, so if you're gone, it's the same tome no matter whom I work with."

Ian looked at the driver for a long while. Alas! He’s been working with me ever since my debut.

Later on, after Cindy stopped working with Ian, the driver attended to all sorts of matters concerningIan.

It was true that there wasn't much to deal with when it came to Ian, and he was also easygoing. However, the driver was also quite skilled in his work. He had never caused trouble, and he couldsmoothly complete almost every task given to him.

Even though he simply drove the car at first—not having too much responsibility—he ended up workingas Ian's assistant too, and he skillfully managed everything.

Ian thought for a bit, then said, "Maybe in the future, when I've fully rested and thought about what todo, I'll contact you if I have a better job for you. You can come work with me then."

The driver never asked Ian what he wanted to do after this, nor did he ask about the latter's directionfor the future. No matter what, he believed in Ian, so he nodded as soon as he heard Ian's words."Sure. You must tell me when you've made the decision, and I'll work with you."

Ian nodded. "Leave it to me."

Their conversation only progressed so far before Ian's phone rang.

Startled, Ian took his phone and glanced at it, then hastily answered the call. Logan was on the otherend of the line.

Ian thought Logan had called to talk about Leah, but when he answered the call, Logan immediatelysaid in excitement, "Ian, Ian, my Lola is giving birth!"

Ian was stunned, then hastily asked, "Has she given birth?"

"No, but she's already in the delivery room. I'll be meeting our baby soon!" Logan's voice was eventrembling a little. Even if Ian wasn't meeting Logan face to face, he knew how emotional the latter was.

Ian was quite happy as well. "Did you just arrive at the hospital? Did they say when the baby'scoming?"

Actually, Logan had been in the hospital for quite a while, and Lola was already prepared early on.However, Logan insisted on keeping Lola company at the hospital until the doctor announced that thebaby was due. novelbin

After what felt like forever, the doctor said that Lola could be sent to the delivery room, so Logancouldn't control his excitement as he told Ian the news.

Ian was glad as well. He and Logan went way back, and now Logan was going to be a father soon.

Time passed by so quickly. In the blink of an eye, they were all grown up and even had their ownoffspring.

For some reason, Ian felt his eyes getting hot. "Are you at the entrance of the delivery room now?"

Logan mumbled affirmatively, "I've been waiting for a while now, but I don't know what's going oninside. The doctor said all her levels were normal, so there shouldn't be any accidents. For me, I don'teven know what I'm feeling right now."

Ian smiled. "Have you called Sophia?"

Logan hadn't. "Not yet. I wanted to tell you first, and then I'll tell her after our call."

Ian said 'sure', then told Logan to inform Sophia first. He said that Logan could call him anytime therewas an update, and then the two ended the call.

At the side, the driver looked at Ian. "Is a relative of yours giving birth?"

Ian nodded. "Yes."

The driver smiled. "Why are you so excited when it's someone else giving birth?"

When the driver said that, Ian was a little stunned. However, he smiled right after that. "I'd still beexcited. It's the birth of a new life, after all."

The driver leaned against the chair, saying lazily, "When it's your turn, and your wife is giving birth to

your child, the excitement is on a whole other level, I tell you. Nothing can ever top that. It's somethingyou have to experience for yourself."
