Chapter 2180

Regardless of what Leah said to him, Simon was in the wrong and should've reflected upon himself.Even though Leah wasn't willing to pay for his debts and was harsh to him, he shouldn't have killed her.He was still a horrible person.

Ian then asked how the police would handle Leah's case and what they would do next. In truth, theincident didn't have much impact on Ian.

He had been busy shooting a film when the police announced that Leah had been killed. Moreover, some people who visited Ian at work said that he had been working overtime as of late. Therefore, thepublic didn't associate him with Leah's death.

Leah had a terrible reputation, to begin with, and her previous job was somewhat indecent. Therefore, many people believed that she had other enemies.

Since her life had been awful, there wasn't a reason for Ian to kill her. The public wasn't foolish; theycould think critically. Therefore, Ian was only briefly mentioned in the discussions, and his life wasn'taffected.

Ian read the news and saw that some people suspected it was Sean's doing. Nevertheless, they knewthat evidence mattered. Furthermore, Sean was a businessman. He always weighed all the pros andcons before doing anything. Killing Leah wouldn't bring him any benefits.

All in all, the incident only slightly affected Ian and Sean, but they still lived their lives as usual.

Hearing Ian's question, Logan gave it some thought and replied, "The police are still collecting theevidence, but the case is basically settled. When they're able to convict him, they'll probably make an

announcement." Then, he reminded Ian by saying, "When that happens, you can tell your agency totake advantage of the announcement and promote your new film."

Ian replied with a smile, "There's no need for that. The incident doesn't affect me much, so there's noreason for me to make a fuss out of it in the end."

Logan agreed with him and teased him by saying, "You don't seem to care about anything now. Do youremember that when you joined showbiz for the first time, you'd always call me and tell me about theproblems you faced? You rarely do that now. I wonder if you only tell Cindy about it now, so you feelthere's no need to repeat everything to me or that you no longer come across any trouble." novelbin

Ian replied calmly, "Well, I don't tell Cindy anything about it either. Perhaps I'm comfortable in my ownskin now, so those things no longer matter to me. In fact, Cindy is more concerned about those mattersthan I am while I've gotten over everything."

Given his state of mind, it would be wonderful if he decided to stay in showbiz. He understood the insand outs of the entertainment industry. Considering his status and fame, many people would comelooking for him for collaboration. His future was bright if he wanted to stay in this industry.

Nevertheless, life was all about giving and taking. Others might crave the benefits that showbiz couldbring them, but he was more concerned about other things.

Logan was displeased with some of the things in showbiz as well, so he said, "Given your popularitynow, you don't have to stay there and suffer. Quit your job and partner up with me to invest in severalprojects. We'll earn lots of money while having fun. Wouldn't that be great?"

He had many ways to make money, though it was mainly because he had four capable older sisters.

With his sisters paving the way for him, he didn't have to worry about money matters.

Ian chuckled. "You have a point. We'll talk about it when my contract expires. If there's anything I wantto do, I'll contact you."

After hesitating for a bit, he asked, "I assume Simon is in a detention center now. When will he beconvicted?"
