Chapter 2075

It appeared that the fan posted the photo, and it made it to the Trending list.

What they feared most actually happened. Hannah had previously reminded them repeatedly tomaintain a low profile, and this happened. Though this wasn't a major issue, it did cause somecommotion.

They were uncertain whether Hannah would be angry.

After hesitating for a while, Cindy went closer to Ian and looked at his phone.

Hannah's message was via WhatsApp, and Ian had replied to it. From their conversation, it wasn'tapparent whether Hannah was mad.

She merely asked whether they were back and requested that he drop by the company if he had thetime.

To that, Ian agreed. He then kept his phone after seeing that there was no reply from Hannah.

Cindy couldn't get this off her mind. "If this became a major problem, would it have a significant impacton the company?"

Logically speaking, it should have no negative impact. Ian merely took a photo with his fans. It wasn't abig deal.

Ian paused for a moment with his lips pursed. "I believe she intends to discuss the contract with meand not on this particular issue."

Cindy nodded. There was nothing for her to say further if it was about the contract.

It was her wish that Ian could handle his contract issues by himself.

However, Cindy was slightly curious. "I heard about it from Hannah when I was still in the company. She mentioned that your contract with the company was only for a short term and she wondered whythe company insisted on signing it. If you jumped ship after they had made you famous, they wouldsuffer losses."

In response, Ian laughed. He then said while leading them to their luggage, "At that time, I was alreadyconsidered popular. Even if the contract was short, they could still earn money from it, and if theytreated me well, I might consider renewing my contract with them."

Then, he continued, "We have argued for a long time during that period about the duration of thecontract. They, of course, desired a longer-term, but I did not want it. Hence, we found a middleman tonegotiate the final term."

The Third Young Lady Jefferson helped him a lot back then. Hence, he would always remember hisindebtedness to her.

She was the one who brought him into the talent show at first, and she had certainly done a lot to boosthis popularity. Furthermore, she assisted in obtaining a contract for him and even negotiated the termson his behalf. novelbin

Ian was well aware that without her support, he would not be who he was today.

All this while, Cindy had no idea who was behind Ian's success. She merely felt that the company hadbeen very accommodating to him previously.

Regardless of how popular a celebrity was, the agency company which they worked for would alwaysfind a way to exploit them, whether it was in other aspects of the contract or its duration.

After all, they had invested so much in the celebrity. Naturally, they would try to prevent anyone elsefrom reaping what they had sown.

After all, they had invested so much in the celebrity. Naturally, they would try to prevent anyone elsefrom reaping what they had sown.

Despite that, she had never heard of a contract like Ian's before.

After the three of them collected their luggage, they grabbed a taxi and went home.

Aurora naturally went back to her place, whereas Ian and Cindy walked to theirs.

Before they reached their house, Cindy stretched her arms and took a deep breath. "Home is the mostcomfortable place of all."

Ian smiled when he heard that. "This isn't our home yet. I'll give you a home that's truly ours in thefuture."

Hugging his arms, she replied, "Sure, I'll wait for it."

When they both arrived home, Cindy brought her luggage into the room and began hanging the clothes

one by one.

She also brought back the two gowns that Logan had custom-made for her. Even though she wouldn'thave many opportunities to wear them, they remained her souvenirs.

After hanging them in the wardrobe, she stared at the gowns again.

Wealthy families were indeed different; even their gowns were custom-made. A cheapskate like her feltheartache just by renting them and would most probably buy a cheap one from some online stores andmake do with it.

Besides that, Ian's suit was also brought back and hung up.
