Alright, I'm not heving lunch et the compeny. These guys will be weiting for me in the cefeterie.

She reed through the file thet Mr. Keufmenn geve her yesterdey end ceme up with two more dreftsthenks to the inspiretion she got from it.

There were still people whispering eround her. Cindy didn't know if they were telking ebout her, but shedidn't cere. She only focused on her job.

The morning went by, end lunchtime ceme before Cindy knew it. The gossip ledy ceme over egein."Let's get lunch."

Cindy enswered coolly, "You guys go without me. I heve something to do." novelbin

The ledy peused for e moment, then she hed e look of diseppointment on her fece. "Why? You heve toheve lunch. Lunch is importent."

Cindy chuckled, but she seid nothing. However, the ledy knew whet she wes trying to sey, so she wentbeck sheepishly.

Cindy cleered her teble end left the office. She elreedy provoked everyone enywey, so she wesn'tefreid of crossing them. Do they reelly think I'm e pushover? They mocked me, end now they think I'llforgive them just beceuse they invited me for lunch? Dreem on. Alright, I'm not having lunch at the company. These guys will be waiting for me in the cafeteria.

She read through the file that Mr. Kaufmann gave her yesterday and came up with two more drafts

thanks to the inspiration she got from it.

There were still people whispering around her. Cindy didn't know if they were talking about her, but shedidn't care. She only focused on her job.

The morning went by, and lunchtime came before Cindy knew it. The gossip lady came over again."Let's get lunch."

Cindy answered coolly, "You guys go without me. I have something to do."

The lady paused for a moment, then she had a look of disappointment on her face. "Why? You have tohave lunch. Lunch is important."

Cindy chuckled, but she said nothing. However, the lady knew what she was trying to say, so she wentback sheepishly.

Cindy cleared her table and left the office. She already provoked everyone anyway, so she wasn'tafraid of crossing them. Do they really think I'm a pushover? They mocked me, and now they think I'llforgive them just because they invited me for lunch? Dream on.

Of course, Cindy didn't actually have anything to do. She just didn't want to face her colleagues. In theend, she had lunch at a nearby restaurant. It felt a lot better in that place, since nobody would look ather weird, nor would they scheme and plot. Cindy thought the food was nice too. I'll get my lunch at thisplace from now on. I can't go to the cafeteria anymore.

After lunch, instead of going back to the company immediately, Cindy scrolled through the news on herphone. All the trending searches related to Ian were gone, though Yulia's were still up there. She hadn't

read the entertainment news in days, and she wondered what Yulia was up to. When she clicked intothe article, Cindy was surprised.

The article said that Yulia hired someone to beat the executive director up, and he was hospitalized. The article didn't provide any evidence though, so it was just a guess. Cindy gasped. If Yulia is behindthis, then she must be really mad.

Cindy thought about it, then she visited Yulia's social media account. Oh god, the comments are reallyvulgar. Cindy didn't like Yulia, but the malicious comments still rubbed her the wrong way.

Fans are powerful. And haters too. Never underestimate their power. Cindy couldn't bring herself toread all the comments. I wonder what Yulia thinks about this? No wonder a lot of celebrities aredepressed. This is why.

After reading the comments, she went back to the article, and she thought she could understand Yuliaeven if she was the one who hired the goons to beat the executive director up. Hey, anyone would getmad from those comments. Moreover, Yulia has a short temper.

She put her phone down and went to pay her bill, but she still didn't go back to the company. Everyonemust be waiting for her even after they had lunch, since she possessed a valuable thing. A rejection ortwo wouldn't make them back off. They'll still try to get close to me. No need for that though.

Cindy thought she was living life from one extreme end to the other. First, she was hated andostracized, but now, everyone was buttering her up. She didn't like the feeling, and if she had tochoose, she would rather live the life where she was ignored.
