Chapter 1846

In the past, when Cindy cleaned up, she only felt like she was working for others. At that time, sheregarded herself as Ian's assistant and nanny, and this place was just her dormitory. But now, cleaninggave her an inexplicable sense of belonging, as if she was tidying up her own home. After a while, since it was almost time, she sent a message to Gary and asked where they were dining tonight.

Gary had just finished his work, so he immediately texted her with the address and private roomnumber.

Soon, Cindy and Ian changed their clothes and went straight to the hotel.

He arrived a little later than them and was not surprised to see Ian there. Then, he nodded at Ian andasked, “Mr. Morgan, how are you?”

The corners of Ian’s lips lifted. “Not bad.”

Gary took his seat, and then said, “You have to look on the bright side about a lot of things. Life is just aprocess where people come and go.”

Ian agreed with a smile. “Actually, I'm fine. My father didn’t suffer for too long. We’re all grateful aboutthat.”

Nodding, Gary called a waiter over to start ordering. After the dishes were ordered, the topic changedwherein Gary began talking about the project that Cindy invested in. At present, the operation of theproject was smooth with a considerable profit. He mentioned that if the economy allowed, Ian andCindy could probably inject more funds as the project would not lose money in a short period of time.

Cindy turned to look at Ian and asked, “Boss, what do you say?”

Hearing this, Ian laughed. “Wow, you give me so much respect outside. Don't you always have the finalsay at home?”

Gary raised his eyes to look at Ian, and then at Cindy, the corners of his mouth twitching. Actually, thesmile on his face was not obvious, but she still saw it. Gary usually smiled at her, but the expression onhis face was a bit different this time.

Cindy was slightly stunned for a moment before quickly withdrawing her gaze. She didn't know whethershe was being too sensitive, but she felt that his smile earlier was rather strange. It's just that she hadlimited understanding and couldn’t analyze it.

Ian and Cindy didn't discuss much before he said, “We believe in you, Mr. Frye. How much do you thinkwe should add?” novelbin

Gary's gaze quickly moved around the two of them and it finally fell on Ian. Then, he discussed theprospect of the investment project with Ian. He said that the specific amount of the follow-up investmentstill depended on Ian's decision. Cindy herself didn't understand these things very well. Even thoughGary had tutored her a few times before, she was really not good at these things and couldn'tunderstand them at all. Since Ian was better at this than she was, she simply ignored it and pushedeverything to him.

Soon, the waiter brought the dishes and she just lowered her head to eat, occasionally listening to Ianand Gary’s discussion. She wanted to understand, but her ability was really limited. Gary and Ian had avery thorough discussion and did not involve Cindy in the topic.

Halfway through the meal, Cindy's phone vibrated twice. She thought about it before taking it out tocheck. It was a message from Naomi asking how Cindy was doing recently and how her life was going.Cindy breathed a sigh of relief as she thought it was Yulia. If Yulia kept harassing her, she would reallyhave to have a serious talk with Yulia.

Then, Cindy replied to Naomi from under the table. Naomi was probably free as she immediatelyreplied, saying that she had been following the news in the entertainment industry recently.
