Chapter 1833

As for normal artists who were lacking in fame, if they caused so much trouble every once in a while,Hannah would go crazy.

Cindy had also witnessed the personal meetings Hannah had held. In those meetings, Hannahwouldn’t even hold back on her criticism. Ian, however, had less of a concern. “She has always knownthat I’m not much of a work-centric person.”

Actually, he did have a proper work attitude in the early stages of his career. The entertainment industrywas a good place to be; at least the money came easily.

He was in dire need of money then, so he aimed to hit the jackpot in the entertainment industry. Hethought that he could confidently leave the Morgan Family if and only if he had enough money on him.

However, when he eventually saw the dark side of the entertainment industry, he suddenly lost interestin staying. Hence, his attitude toward work took a negative turn.

Hannah was a sharp-eyed person, so she must have noticed it. The next day, Cindy and Ian went tothe company to find little people there. When they saw Ian coming over, they greeted him the way theyalways did.

Their gazes toward Cindy were also the same as always, with a dubious touch to them. Cindy noddedas she greeted them in return, then followed Ian all the way to the meeting room.

Ian had called Hannah beforehand, but the latter hadn’t arrived yet, so Cindy and Ian took their seats inthe meeting room.

The door to the meeting room was closed, and Cindy lowered her voice as she said, “I heard thecompany took in some more pretty boys recently.”

Ian wasn’t too concerned about these things. “They have had so many audition shows recently, and thewinners are all very talented. Surely the company won’t sit by and watch.”

When he first joined an audition show, their current company had set its sights on a few contestants inthe same show. In the end, however, only Ian got the contract. Some talents were dropped by thecompany after some consideration, whereas others went to other companies which offered betterdeals.

Cindy nodded. “I’m just wondering which of them would get the most support from the company.”

Ian understood Cindy’s worries, so he smiled as he reached out to pat Cindy’s head. “Surely you’re notworrying about me at this point?”

As soon as he finished speaking, the door to the meeting room opened, and Hannah walked in withdocuments in hand. Cindy was surprised by Hannah’s sudden appearance, so she subconsciouslyrecoiled from Ian and swatted his hand away.

Ian stared at Cindy, his expression falling somewhere between smiling and not. Hannah didn’t noticethe interaction between the two. Her phone was in her other hand, and she walked in while she was onthe phone, so her gaze was trained on the floor. Cindy gave Ian a warning glare, then adjusted herselfand sat upright.

Hannah walked over and sat down, then spoke a little more into her phone before hanging up. After

that, she stared at Ian and Cindy, then let out a breath. “I see that you’re in quite a good conditionyourselves. I take it that your days weren’t as horrible as I thought they were?”

Ian nodded. “It was fine, actually.” novelbin

Hannah sighed. “So you’re done with all the family matters?”

She was talking about Bryce. Ian didn’t attempt to keep it a secret as he said, “The will is yet to beannounced, so I think the next uproar will come from the announcement of the will itself.”

Hannah nodded. “Do you have any information on the will? Maybe something that might affect yourreputation?”

Ian couldn’t say for sure. “I’ve never asked about it. I’m not too clear on the details.”

Hannah crossed her arms and laid them on the table. “All right, then I’ll have the PR department makesome preparations and see what sort of hot news might come from your family.”

With that, she went back to business and commented on Ian’s reputation outside. The public opinion ofhim wasn’t too great before, but since the Morgans had given him full support, and also since Ian wentto the hospital to visit Bryce, the company managed to ride on the wave.

By the looks of it, Ian seemed to have cleared his name.

However, they couldn’t let down their guard yet. Some people were still on the lookout for things toslander Ian with, so Ian had to be more careful with his behavior in the future.
