Chapter 1735

Cindy sat on the couch the entire time and listened to the songs that Aurora was humming. She isprobably crooning her own songs that she wrote when she was younger.

Although the melody and lyrics seemed outdated, the old classics songs had a different feel now thatCindy listened to them.

She had been listening to Aurora for some time when Ian suddenly opened the door of his room andmotioned for Cindy to head in.

As soon as she saw his furtive behavior, Cindy was positive that he was up to no good.

She shook her head and his face immediately darkened, which made him aggrieved and upset.

Cindy wanted to laugh at him. After resisting for a while, she finally stood up and walked over to hisroom.

Aurora did not notice anything as she was still singing to herself while she cooked. When she started tohum the melody that she fancied, she even started to move to the beat.

As soon as Cindy entered, Ian immediately closed the door, but he did not immediately pounce ontoher.

She initiated the conversation and commented, “Mrs. Morgan looks happy. I wonder what happened.Could it be that your dad has already contacted her?”

He shook his head. “I don’t think so. If he did, she would immediately run to us to tell us this piece ofnews.”

After Cindy heard Ian’s reply, she thought it made sense. Aurora was not someone who could hold asecret. If Bryce had really contacted her, she definitely would be so agitated that she would share thenews with them.

Then, Cindy pouted. “Then, why did she become so happy after taking a nap?”

Ian smiled and caressed her face. “Perhaps we can presume that she had a lovely dream whichresulted in good spirits after she woke up.”

Sure enough, Mrs. Morgan is someone like this. Two days ago, as soon as she woke up, she was in abad mood for no good reason.

Aurora’s behavior at that time had confused both of them as they were unsure how they had offendedher.

When they asked her about it, they learned that she had a nightmare the night before and it affectedher mood, which was why she pulled a long face the next day.

Sometimes, Aurora was an emotional and rather childish person.

On the other hand, it was not enough for Ian to touch Cindy, so he ended up kissing her. After he gavea peck on her cheek, he still didn’t feel satisfied, so he kissed her lips.

He couldn’t stop proceeding until he reached the final step.

Finally, Ian pressed her down on the bed and both of them were panting from the kiss.

Cindy was slightly worried because the door was unlocked. Aurora might open the door directly toinform that dinner was ready once she was finished cooking.

If that happened, it would be embarrassing.

After nudging Ian a few times and receiving no response from him, Cindy hastily said, “Get up now. What if Mrs. Morgan sees us like this?”

Ian had buried his head in her collarbone as his entire body felt uncomfortable.

He did not know whether he should continue, but there were times when he just couldn’t control hisactions.

After taking a break, he finally managed to control his impulse and rolled away from Cindy. Then, he layon the bed and took deep breaths.

Meanwhile, she quickly sat up and smoothed her clothes. As she listened intently to the outsidesurroundings, she realized that Aurora was still cooking. novelbin

Cindy heaved a sigh of relief, tidied her hair, and went to stand by the windows.

When Ian turned around to see her, he knew that she was being shy.

However, to be honest, he was rather shy himself. He thought that if he did something now, it would besuch a rapid progress.

They had just confessed their feelings today, after all. If he was this bold, he would come across as anindecent man.

On the other hand, Ian selfishly thought that he had tolerated long enough.

He had been holding himself back ever since he developed some feelings toward Cindy.

Now that he finally didn’t need to hide his feelings, he wanted to follow his heart for once.

Cindy stood by the window for a while and waited for her shock to slowly fade off. When he pressed onher earlier, she could clearly feel the reaction of his body.

She knew what this meant, so she was slightly afraid.
