Cindy sat in the co-driver’s seat and she turned her head to look out of the window, not saying a wordas well.

The driver had a smirk on his face and he looked as though he understood their situation.

When they reached the shooting studio, Ian took the makeup box himself. As both of them walked in,there were other staff who greeted them.

They treated Cindy respectfully and addressed her as ‘Ms. Selby’. Thinking back, Cindy rememberedthey used to just call her ‘Cindy’ back then.

Sure enough, after her position had changed, the others had also changed their attitude and way ofspeaking.

When Ian was doing his makeup, Cindy waited for him. Coincidentally, the makeup artist was the samegirl from when he joined the show with Sena.

Cindy remembered that this makeup artist was quite responsive to Ian.

Back then, Cindy was merely on the sidelines of the drama, but now she was one of the peopleinvolved.

This time around, the makeup artist was more stable. She merely looked at Ian’s facial features, butsometimes her gaze shifted to Cindy for a while.

Cindy then pulled a chair over and sat next to Ian as she leaned against the makeup table, scrolling

through various celebrity news on her phone lazily.

Meanwhile, Ian’s phone was placed on the table with the screen facing upward.

After a while, the phone lit up, showing that he received a message.

As the phone was not far from Cindy, she saw the contents of the message with just a glance.

It was a message from Yulia.

Truth be told, Cindy was not surprised to see that. After taking pictures for Ian last time, Yulia and Ianhad obviously kept in touch.

However, it was surprising that Yulia would contact him first, as it was not like her.

Logically speaking, if there were any problems at work, it would be her publisher contacting Ian’scompany or Ian himself.

Hence, Cindy could more or less confirm a few things.

Presently, Ian took his phone and clicked on the message, so she did not know about it’s contents.

She could only try to analyze his expression, but he was quite expressionless throughout.

And so, she didn’t manage to get any information out of it.

Ian did not reply, and he just shot a glance at his phone before putting it down.

Cindy did not ask about it, but the makeup artist next to them said, “Your schedule seems less busylately.”

She was definitely speaking to Ian, so he replied in the affirmative.

Then, he added, “I was too occupied a while back and it was too tiring. I would like to take a break.”

She just nodded without saying anything else.

After she finished with his makeup, they waited in the room for a while, as the show had not startedshooting as they were waiting for other guests to arrive.

The makeup artist collected her stuff and shot a glance at Cindy. Finally, the former could not helpherself and said, “You really make people envy you, Ms. Selby.”

Cindy smiled upon hearing that, but she played along and did not refute her words. “Yeah, manypeople say the same thing.”

Upon hearing that, the makeup artist pouted without replying. After she finished packing her stuff, shewaited outside the room.

Ian heard their conversation, but he merely stared at his phone.

After a moment of silence, Cindy said, “By the way, the pictures that you shot for the magazine coverwill be coming out soon.”

Without looking at her, he replied, “They have decided on which pictures to use. I think what remains isjust the editing from the publisher. We’ll wait for the next season to publish it immediately.”

Cindy nodded in response. “I’m sure the pictures that Miss Noble has taken will turn out great. I’mlooking forward to looking at them.”

Ian, however, merely said indifferently, “I guess. They are going to do post-editing anyway.”

Compared to others, he really doesn’t really care about this stuff.

However, Cindy thought that it didn’t matter even if it was edited. As long as they look nice, it’s fine.After the pictures are out, it might even open the door to the fashion industry for him.

In less than a few minutes, some guests came out from outside and Ian stood up to greet them.

Among the guests, Ian was the one with the least experience, so they were all considered as hisseniors.
