While Sophia’s joke cracked everyone else up, Jasmine only curled her lips upward to force a smile onher face. Unable to fit in entirely, she didn’t find the jokes funny throughout the conversation despitetheir sense of humor. In fact, she had never been so uneasy for a while now. She was aware of the factthat she had been left out by the man for whom she had appeared on this occasion. Nevertheless, shedidn’t express her regret for tagging along with Logan.
