Chapter 632

Closing my book, I stood up and walked to the balcony. I looked across the yard and beyond the gate. I

couldn't see anyone outside since the wall was too high.

"Talk about what?" It had been four years, so I didn't know what I could talk about with her.novelbin

"Anything will do, we can drink tea as we reminisce the past." She sounded more mature.

Everyone seemed to have changed in the past four years. I looked down at the watch on my wrist for

the time.

I was silent for a moment before nodding. "Give me a moment!"

It did not seem right to talk in the villa. After tidying up, I went downstairs and left the villa.

At the door, I saw her leaning against a white Corolla. She was dressed in a white suit and a pair of

black high heels. Her long hair was curled into waves.

She didn't look like how she did four years ago at all. She seemed to have changed a lot.

Before I greeted her, someone came up behind me. It was Evan. It seemed like he had been staying

over at the villa for the past few days.

I didn't asked for the details, but Hendrix had asked me to reach out to him directly should I have any

issues, like he had become my private assistant.

"Madam, are you heading out?" He asked while eyeing Andrea who was outside the door.

I nodded, "Just some catching up with an old friend!"

He nodded. However, he did not intend to let me leave alone. "I'll go with you."

It looked like he was deliberately protecting me. I didn't understand it at first, but when I noticed the

Mercedes not far away, it finally clicked in my head.

Hendrix was definitely different from before. The media watched his every action like a hawk. Evan was

probably afraid that I would run into danger if I went out alone. After all, I was Hendrix's woman, so he

had to be vigilant.

I nodded, not commenting any further.

Andrea noticed Evan. Her beautiful eyes looked over to me and said, "Arianna, it's been a while!"

I gave a small smile, feeling a little melancholic. Four years had passed, and she became more mature

and charming. She was now an outstanding woman with great achievements in business to boast.

Surely someone like her would attract a lot of attention. She was no longer the helpless girl who only

knew how to rely on Hendrix.

"Long time no see!" I wasn't jealous at all, but was just a little surprised about the difference between

us now.

"Let's go to the coffee shop downtown!" She looked at Evan and she added, "It's private enough!"

I nodded. Before getting on the car, I saw a few Mercedes driving towards our direction. They came to

a stop in front of Andrea's car. The people who got out of the car were not reporters, but a group of

bodyguards.

After that, she smirked and said, "It seems that someone else wants to see you more than I do."

In the face of a rival in love, no matter how calm one appeared, they would still get emotional. I pursed

my lips and looked at her wordlessly.

Tossing her phone into her bag, she crossed her arms in front of her chest and looked at me. "Since

you're divorced, and you chose to leave, why did you come back?"

She was now frank and straightforward, a contrast to how she was like before. Sure enough, her

change these past four years was drastic.

I looked away from the bodyguards and said blandly, "This is my business. It has nothing to do with

you."
