Chapter 600

When I saw Aaron, I was looking for the key in my bag. The lights in the alley were dim and the car's

light was particularly bright.

It was a black Bentley with the car plate that I was very familiar with.

With just a few keywords, I was able to guess most parts of it.

The man turned off the engine and got out of the car. He was slender and dressed in casual clothes,

which made him look even more charming.

I stood at the door and looked at him silently.

He approached me and he was much taller than me. "Uncle Charles said that you were in Hovell. I

thought that you would live in one of the cities in Andoland after leaving Jarold City. I didn't expect that

you would come back to Hovell again."

"Come in and have a seat!" I said with a faint smile on my face.novelbin

The light in the yard was on and it was very bright. I poured him a glass of water and sat down quietly

on the rattan chair to ease the drunkenness.

He looked at me with deep eyes and asked, "Did you go and take a look at the old estate?"

I pursed my lips and said, "Twenty years have passed. Even if the old estate has not been demolished,

it has been mostly changed."

I had gone to take a look before. When I first came to Hovell with Anne, I always liked to take her to the

old estate. Although someone had modified the house, many things were still retained.

He said, "I only changed the things that were broken. I didn't replace the other things."

My mind went blank for a second before I realized that it was him who had bought the old estate.

I nodded slightly but did not say anything else. I just said, "It's getting late. Let's talk about it some other

day. Go back and rest early!"

Since he had a house in Hovell, there was no reason for me to keep him here.

He remained silent for a long while before he got up and walked toward the door.

I followed to send him off at the entrance.

Suddenly, he turned around and hugged me. I was a little stunned, but I calmed down in a moment.

"Arianna, I miss you so much," he said in a hoarse voice. He seemed just like a child.

I pursed my lips and stood still. Raising my hand, I patted him on the shoulder and said in a faint voice,

"Anne is already four years old. If you have time, you can come and visit her."

There was no need to bear a grudge since time could heal it.

The next day.

Aaron went to the hotel, and Hendrix left for a few days. The rumor about me and Norman was

spreading fiercely among the staff in the hotel.

Some said that Norman fawned on me because of Charles' power. There were others who said that we

each have our own families, but were still hooking up with each other. That was absolutely detestable

of us.

The more I heard, the more indifferent I had become.

Aaron's appearance was undoubtedly a good thing. The office had instantly become silent upon his

arrival.

I was busy sorting out the documents and did not notice his arrival.

Looking back, I suddenly saw a man standing behind me. His figure was tall and straight, and he was

exceptionally handsome.

I was not startled, but I was a little surprised that he showed up in my office.

"Why... Why are you here?" I asked.

He smiled faintly and withdrew his gaze from my computer screen. Then, he said in a deep voice, "I

came to take you to breakfast together."

He did not come here to ask me whether I wanted to have breakfast with him. Instead, he came to take

me to have breakfast with him.

Many people had managed to recognize him, and they could not help getting a little excited.

He nodded and found a seat to sit down. He did it so naturally and casually, without feeling any

discomfort.
