Chapter 565

I frowned, seeing him purse his lips without any intention of speaking. But before I could say

something, someone interrupted me.

"It's because of you. it's all because of you, Arianna. You're such an evil person!" Andrea who had her

wounds dealt with yelled as she walked out of the ward.

Her face was twisted in resentment and anger.

When Hendrix saw that she was fine, his voice became cold and indifferent, "That's enough! Go home!"

"Hah!" Andrea sneered, "Do you think you can deceive her for the rest of your life? The truth cannot benovelbin

concealed. How long do you think you can hide it for?"

I knitted my brows and glanced at Hendrix, "What did you lie to me about?"

Hendrix's expression looked a little cold. His gaze fell on Andrea as he said to Evan, "Send Miss Burton

back home."

Evan nodded as and quickly led Andrea away, but Andrea pushed him away and said ironically, "Do

you think that others would keep mum about this even if I do?"

She glanced at me and said sarcastically and ruthlessly, "Arianna, you're an idiot! Everyone has you

fooled, yet you still think you're living in bliss and feel contented. You're pathetic."

"Take her away!" Hendrix barked his order at Evan, his voice laced with fury.

Evan had no choice but to drag Andrea away by force.

I glanced at Andrea, whose face was twisted in anger. Then, I said abruptly, "Let her speak."

I walked towards Andrea and pushed Evan aside. I stared down at her and asked, "What are you trying

to say?"

Andrea jeered, "Why are you asking me? You can ask your husband. He's got a big surprise waiting for

you. It'll be much more interesting than what I have to tell you."

I glimpsed at Hendrix and asked, "What the heck is going on?"

"We'll talk after we get home!" Hendrix answered as he raised his hand and pinched the bridge of his

nose.

He then speedily pulled me towards the elevator.

I stopped in my tracks, my heart filled with doubts.

Hendrix's eyes were cold as he said, "Arianna, let's go back and talk, alright?"

I curled my lips and hesitated for a moment, then decided to follow him into the elevator.

After getting out of the elevator, Hendrix went to the garage to get his car. I stood at the entrance of the

hospital and waited for him. What on earth did he hide from me?

I received a few messages on the phone which I subconsciously opened and skimmed through. They

were all documents.

I checked the messages and found that it was from an unknown number. I clicked on the photo and a

picture of a baby suddenly appeared.

The subsequent few photos were also all of the baby. There was even a video of the baby being put

into an incubator. These were all of the same child.

It was as if I had been struck by a bolt of lightning. My hands and feet went limp as I dropped my

phone.

It felt like no air was entering my lungs. I couldn't breathe. I admitted that I was weak and timid.

When Irvin buried the child, I didn't take a single look at it. I was afraid that I would never be able to get

past what I saw, so I never took a look.

I never thought or expected that I would see him like this. He looked exactly like the child in my

dreams, with the exact same appearance and all.
