I pursed my lips and pushed Hendrix away. "It's hot. Get away from me!"

I wanted to know but I didn't ask. I stared at the ceiling. My heart felt a little empty.
I did hate Hendrix the time when something happened to our child. I was bitter at him for failing to
protect me, bitter at him for not being by my side when things happened.

I sat up straight. I looked at him and said, "Come over." It was still early, and I didn't want to leave the
bed as I had no other plans for the day.

are you so lazy?"

I tied the necktie for him as I usually did for my scarf. Surprisingly, I succeeded at my first attempt.

He snorted and said, "Why? What's wrong? Are you not willing to meet me?"
